A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Pennsylvania in connection with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students whose bodies were found in a rental home near campus last month, multiple law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation said Friday.
It marks the first major break in a case that has both captivated and mystified the globe.
The sources said the man was apprehended in the Scranton area Friday morning. Authorities are expected to hold a news conference on the case later Friday.
Few details have been released publicly in the gruesome Nov. 13 slayings of 21-year-olds Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves, and 20-year-olds Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin. The four friends, members of the university’s Greek system, were discovered across the street from campus, leaving the small town of Moscow, Idaho, deeply shaken. Relatively few details have been released about the homicides, intensifying the mystery.
The Moscow Police Department has said it was working through nearly 12,000 tips in an effort to solve the case.
The hideout was his mommy’s house.
His car seems to match the one they were looking for.
There are bound to be some cameras or license plate readers along the way that could show that he traveled from Idaho to PA after committing the crime.
All these smart psychologists in the family, and they couldn’t figure out that the brother was a murderous nutbag?
He's going for the BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT Defense right away, which helps him with the potential juror pools and useful idiots.
My first thought too. If he wasn’t getting any before, he damn sure ain’t going to now. But he’ll be a hit on the cell block with the bull queers.
Here’s an example of sinister criminal justice “professor”

That’s cute, but we don’t know if he committed more murders (or is even guilty of those in question). Tim Dowling is being imprecise.
What a strange murder.
Yeah, a few dozen more like this will make up for the political bullshit the FBI pulls in DC.
I forgot that most of these professors are far left Marxist lunatics, so I shouldn’t be surprised if they are involved in arson or murder. And wasn’t James Holmes the Aurora theater shooter going for his PHD?
Reminds me of the OJ Simpson case. A lot of the evidence was mishandled, there was sloppiness, and as a result he got off.
Not serial killer that we know of.
MASS MURDERER.
But seems this was targeted, so it may not be true MM.
Not everything is Moslem.
Targeted mass murder like this in Idaho generally wouldn’t be, either.
Yeah. ESPN did a mega 30 for 30 about the OJ thing, and in it Clark basically straight up said she knew the case was blown when she found out the shoes had spent a weekend in the cop’s trunk. Not only did it devalue the shoes as evidence with that complete lack of chain, it called into question all the evidence. She actually said when that came out that if she was a juror that would have introduced reasonable doubt.
Has he been tied to MAGA yet?
I’m sick of them doing that.
I posted the January 6 SCOTUS hearing when it broke and they took it down in five minutes.
They even scrubbed a Trump Rally I posted
