Democrat Congressman Ritchie Torres has introduced a bill directly targeting 'Long Island Liar' and Representative-elect George Santos.
Torres, a fellow New Yorker, is bluntly calling it the 'SANTOS Act' which stands for ‘Stop Another Non-Truthful Office Seeker.’
In a tweet Friday, Torres said the bill would 'require candidates to disclose under oath their employment, educational, & military history so we can punish candidates who lie to voters about their qualifications.'

And naturally, this bill would retroactively apply to, say, Fauxcahontas Warren and Joe “The Plagiarizer” Biden, right?

Truth be known they have all committed at least one felony to get where they are.
Yeah - this should be called the Blumenthal Act since he is the #1 example.

So, we are now going to prevent liars from serving in the Congress?

The publicity around Santos will, I expect, result in more efforts to verify the background of candidates. And if it doesn’t, voters get what they get, and they get another chance in two years.

I say Obama needs to be investigated and have his presidency revoked for lying about who he really was and is. How about his school records and birth certificate? If he was legit he wouldn’t have hesitated showing the world his birth certificate instead of waiting and then making one up.
Where’s the fun in running for office if you have to tell the truth?
How about Elizabeth "Lie-a-watha" Warren who claimed to be Native American to steal scholarships earmarked for them?
How about Ilhan "I Married My Brother" Omar?
How about Jao Bai-din, the known plagiarist and one who lies repeatedly?
How about Barack Obama who has a fake birth certificate?
How about Kamala Harris who took an oath to serve as Vice President which she is ineligible for since she's not a Natural Born Citizen because her parents were not U.S. citizens when she was born?
How about Hillary Clinton who lied about coming under gunfire in Kosovo? Who lied about being named after Sir Edmund Hillary yet he climbed Mt. Everest years after she was born?
How about Bill Clinton, a felon who committed perjury but still remained in office?
And who will define what a lie is? Lies are obviously subjective when it comes to the dems.
One would have thought they’d relate to him like kin.
