Twitter chief Elon Musk announced Wednesday there will be an open exchange of ideas about scientific claims at the social media giant. The new policy is in stark contrast to Twitter's rules prior to Musk's takeover, where questioning official narratives on COVID-19, the vaccines, transgender issues and more could result in suspension or outright bans.
“New Twitter policy is to follow the science, which necessarily includes reasoned questioning of the science,” he wrote.
In response to professor Gad Saad mocking Fauci's claim that attacks on him are attacks on science, Musk said anyone who makes such a claim "cannot be regarded as a scientist."
The announcement comes after the billionaire took a shot at Dr. Anthony Fauci earlier this week over another conflict of interest - highlighting his wife's role at the National Institutes of Health.

The left is working overtime to take down Musk. The onslaught is formidable and on multiple fronts, the attack on Tesla is the centerpiece. The left is making buying a Tesla seem to be the moral equivalent of voting Republican, which is pure poison to most potential EV buyers.
I will be very surprised if Musk survives all this.

Scientists all around the world should be ashamed that they allowed the fraud in the first place. For centuries, scientists have held up Galileo as the model scientist. He questioned the teachings of his day. He went against the “official thinking” and paid a price for it. But he understood that asking questions is what science is all about.
Modern scientists seems to be as enlightened as the Medieval Church. Shame on them.
We were all going to freeze. We were all going to burn up. We are all going to flood because of change. Science has always been an evolving quest that needs to be questioned.

This is a good point to share an observation. The current adult generation of narrowly educated people has been taught that the world is viewed either as Scientific-Rationalistic or as Theological-Superstitious and that “educated” people should be choosing Scientific.
As Marcello Pera (writing with Cardinal Ratzinger) advised us, the entire history of Western Thought has shown us that intelligence rests on a three legged stool. The legs are Science, Theology and Ethics. These answer the Great Questions: What am I allowed to know. For what am I allowed to hope. Lastly, how should I behave.
This false claim that science is in opposition to Theology and Morals-Ethics is purely ignoring the history of western thinking.
