Nearly half of the passengers on two recent flights from China to Milan tested positive for COVID-19, Italian health officials said on Wednesday.
About 38 percent of passengers on one flight into Milan’s Malpensa Airport tested positive for COVID-19, as did about 52 percent of those on a second flight, according to local officials in Italy’s Lombardy region.
Italy will begin testing all new arrivals from China and sequencing the tests for new variants amid China’s surge in COVID-19 cases, Italy’s health minister said on Wednesday.
“The measure is essential to ensure surveillance and detection of possible variants of the virus in order to protect the Italian population,” Italian Health Minister Orazio Schillaci said.

8 out of every 10 people I know have had Covid... Some of them several times over, and that is despite them being juiced with vaccine multiple times over... None of them have died, including a friend who had Covid while going through Cancer treatment... Covid kills sick people... Period!
There is absolutely no need for healthy people to isolate or worry about getting Covid... They will survive.
I for the last 3 years have been on the supplant regimen and had no problems even though working with the public everyday!! I got a very bad sinus infection the Dr. put me on prednisone to take the swelling down, I had NO IDEA that steroids bring your immune to parade rest!! I ended up with Covid which developed into pneumonia do to weakened immune system!! OMG I was so sick HOWEVER I survived it,I had ivermectin on hand doubled up on the supplements I will be 70 next month and NOT VAXED!! It has been 3 weeks but NOW I have natural immunity it was really rough BUT NO not a death sentence!!! If you are a senior citizen DO NOT EVER let a Dr. put you on steroids EVER!!!
