That is perfect Clinton strategy right there.

Deny, delay, obfuscate and repeat. Hold a press conference and say nothing but “I can’t recall.” Then months later, after you have said nothing and done nothing to refute the charges, call it “old news that has been dealt with.”

The J6 “committee” was a “show” trial in several different respects. It was produced by a former ABC exec like a TV special. It involved all anti-Trump “jurors” with no cross-examination of witnesses as well as omission of any exculpatory evidence. Finally, it was actually “shown” on network TV stations in addition to cable networks.

OTOH, the Oversight & Judiciary hearings will have no producer, will have cross-examination, will have actual Democrat participation & will have little if any TV coverage. However, the hearings need to take place & the findings need to be sent out to everyone who won’t ignore them.

Raymond doesn’t bother me too much. I know that he’s a moderate and I can accept it. He does come up with some interesting things once in awhile.

Regarding Congressional investigations; After watching 50 years of this political non stop bull manure, I find that both sides are nothing but hypocrites.

If this congress is not working to bring us back to Constitutional Governance as it is meant to do, we’ll just keep witnessing the same old bread and circuses routine until we all pass from this earth....God Help us!

The investigation of Trump was purely political and based on false charges designed to overturn the election results and drive him out of office. Of course, it hurt him.

An investigation of Hunter will do just the opposite -- exposing his criminal behavior and get the truth out to those interested.

The suppression of the Hunter laptop story alone may have cost Trump the election, although I have no doubt Democrats would still have manufactured enough votes in their big city fraud centers to defeat him.

He was aligned with the Bush neocons 20 years ago. I think he’s ideologically “flexible”.

He’s not a southerner; he’s from New Orleans. His father’s family is from Guatemala.

Fund raising tactic. They “investigate” then it quietly goes away. Congress is no more than a dog and pony show circus. All votes are for a pre-determined outcome with Rinos/Repubs helping the left achieve their agenda.

What many miss in all this ..is people are getting RICH in the process.
Very few get arrested or resign.. so, it must be all for show?
Most end up wealthy with several multi million dollar mansions..regardless of the outcome.
All the while flying around in their private jets while Staying at five star hotels..enjoy lavish meals and drink.

You and i would sit in jail awaiting trial for month if we did a fraction of what they do.

Most end up wealthy with several multi million dollar mansions..regardless

Once again, the Democrats get their "free kick me" against Republicans.

The GOP never retaliates.

The trap for Republicans is that Democrats know they can be abusive first and get away with it, because Republicans will reject "whataboutism," and insist on taking the high road in contrast, essentially giving the Democrats a free "kick me" every time.

Nothing will change unless Democrats feel the blowback. Democrats get away with the free punch against Republicans; they get to do the crime to advance their agenda and the Republicans are forced by their "leadership" to stay on the high road.

There is no reason to believe that a future GOP will behave any different than the prior GOP did.

Instead of going after the Biden’s or Merrick Garland, the Republicans should be investigating CCP funded lobby groups. This country is riddled with them.

They have politically correct sounding names and agendas but in reality they are fronts for a massive CPP bribery scheme that seeks to undermine all our institutions, both public and private.

The CCP is behind everything that is going wrong in this country. The invasion of our southern border, the stolen elections, the Covid hoax, the climate change hoax the crashed economy, the perversions being taught in our schools and universities, the racial violence in our cites, the attack on our Founding Fathers, our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

The CCP is paying Americans to set up these lobby groups and eat away at all our institutions - like termites.

If Republicans are serious about investigating corruption, it would be so easy to expose all this. Just subpoena them all, let them cut a deal to avoid prison (after all, they are Americans committing treason) - and find out exactly where the money comes from and exactly where it is going.

By doing it that way, they wouldn’t get into these political wars that go nowhere. Don’t make it personal about the Biden’s - just follow the money - if it leads to the Biden’s so be it.

But it won’t happen, because 90% of the authorities and politicians are getting paid off one way or another. The 10% that aren’t getting paid off won’t do anything either - because if they try to they’ll get destroyed by the 90% who are paid off.

That’s exactly what happened to President Trump - he said he would drain the D.C. swamp - and they have been attacking him mercilessly ever since. People who actually try to fight back will wind up rotting in prison.

I am frankly worn out of ALL these investigations with VERY STRONGLY WORDED LETTERS, not one damn consequence comes of any of it so why waste our time and money!!

Raymond Arroyo is from New Orleans, where some natives have the odd “yat” accent but he even lacks that.

Arroyo is bland and middle of the road like his patroness Laura Ingraham, the one time girlfriend of Keith Olbermann. Arroyo is a lay Catholic professional, which some might think makes him a conservative intellectual. I don’t share that opinion about him or about Laura.

Arroyo and Ingraham were both fans of Dubya and probably still are.
