EPA Administrator Michael Regan said that the rule would protect “historically overburdened communities,” that are disproportionately affected by trucking emissions as truck freight routes are often located near “vulnerable populations,” according to the press release.

The "overburdened communities" are American farmers. Too bad for you puke @ss city dwelling liberals

If those “historically overburdened communities” think things are bad now, i.e. they live in “food deserts” b/c of shop lifting, rioting and looting, they’re gonna love it when the supply lines are cut off completely.

A smart Republican Governor with a highly blue city should take this rule and say no diesel or gasoline trucks are allowed to deliver to the city. Let the blue mayors figure that out.

More supply chain sabotage. What could be the endgame? Even dairies take care of their cows. They don’t intentionally destroy them. They milk us, why destroy us? Is it even conscious on their part?

The pointy headed idiots have no clue what diesel engines power.

Farming
Drilling and fracking
Back up generators
Deliveries of all that we consume
Airport vehicles
Maritime operations
Cranes
and a lot more that I can’t think of right now.

No way in hell can “green” energy take the place of diesel powered equipment.

The contraction of NO2 in the US atmosphere is 64% less than it was in 1980. It’s about 40 parts per billion. Per the safety data sheet, the exposure limit is 1 part per million in 15 minutes. 40 ppb is .04 ppm.

In other words, it’s another government solution to a problem that doesn’t exist at a cost to every person in the country.

EPA needs to be closed.

The Environmental Protection Agency don’t realize they are helping the hydrogen fuel industry more than the EV units our electrical grid system is 100 years behind to support all the electrical junk they want to pimp the fools want.

Also the EPA should have no such authority. The constitution does not give them that authority. Congress has delegated their authority to someone else(An unelected body) which is not constitutional. But throw in a corrupt court and here we are.

The article states these new regs are to be
for any NEW diesel powered trucks starting
in 2027.
There are thousands of good used trucks
that can be bought to meet a fleets
needs, unless there is no clause to
“grandfather” them into new regs, and
companies are forced to upgrade their
old trucks to meet the new standards.
I can’t see where that would happen.
There would be a major scramble for
acquisition of parts to upgrade for
millions of diesel powered vehicles.
I would think that increased
preventative maintenance for existing
fleets, to keep them on the road longer,
would be key.
