Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) ripped into Rep.-elect George Santos (R-N.Y.) over his embellishments and fabrications about his background, asking him point-blank, “Do you have no shame?”
“If I were one of those in New York’s 3rd District right now, now that the election is over, and I’m finding out all of these lies that you’ve told, not just one little lie or one little embellishment — these are blatant lies — my question is, do you have no shame?” Gabbard asked while filling in for Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview with Santos on Tuesday evening. “Do you have no shame? And the people who are now, you’re asking to trust you to go and be their voice for them, their families and their kids in Washington?”
“Tulsi, I can say the same thing about the Democrats,” Santos responded. “Look at Joe Biden. Joe Biden has been lying to the American people for 40 years. He’s the president of the United States. Democrats resoundingly support him. Do they have no shame?”
Gabbard interjected, saying that her question was not about the Democrats.
Santos has emerged from days of silence following reports from The New York Times and other outlets this month that revealed misrepresentations, fabrications and lies about his personal background.

I don’t care much for liars or those who betray the public trust. You can play the game where that’s a feature you like…or that it’s a tit for tat with the Democrats.
They way I was raised those are not the qualities I want anything to do with.

Republican Congressman-elect George Santos of New York divorced a woman in 2019, days before the start of his failed 2020 campaign.
As noted in a new report by The Daily Beast, Santos didn’t disclose his marriage to a woman throughout his campaign while he positioned himself as a proud gay Republican.
Santos became the first gay Republican to be elected to Congress while being out from the get-go when he beat out Democrat Robert Zimmerman in last month’s midterm elections. Predecessors Steve Gunderson and Jim Kolbe came out while already in office.
“The divorce — which Santos has not discussed publicly — adds new uncertainty to his already shaky biographical and political claims,” the outlet reports.
Santos had previously said that he was “openly gay” and that he never had a problem with his sexual orientation.

Is the “husband” another lie?
George claims the wedding was delayed due to covid but no evidence exists.
Oh, this dude is not my candidate, I’ve never even been to New York.
But if his goal is ridicule, the time for that is entirely appropriate and I fully support it.
The outrage from the libtards and fake conservatives is deafening, so I have some hope that he may be good. If he turns out to be a low-life RINO I expect those voices to die down.

Can you tell me one thing that you know about the congressman that you know is true?

What about him gives you any faith?
That all the ‘tards and RINOs hate him! This is always sufficient for a snap position in an unknown environment. Always.
But since neither side appears to know a whole lot about him... I’ll be watching. The ‘tards are almost never right... but you never know, they could have made a mistake here.
The ridicule angle is the redeeming trait... if it turns out that’s what he’s doing. Man would that get the ‘tards in a tizzy.
On another subject, I see he’s got you all worked up. Now why is that? I don’t recall you getting all worked up about Lizzie Warren. I don’t recall you going on about slow Joe and his mountain of lies.
But maybe I just missed it.
Yes. He is going to be a congressman.
I know as much about this congressman as I could say I know about Biden. Or Pocahontas.
Biden said so was his great grandfather.
