Buffalo has been plunged into chaos as brazen looters wreak havoc on storefronts amid a historic blizzard that dumped six feet of snow on the northern New York city.
It has become the deadliest storm to hit the western part of the state in 50 years, with at least 27 people reported dead as scores of others remain trapped in their houses and cars.
Roads in the city remain impassable under several feet of heavy snow, as first responders struggle to reach those who remain trapped days after the storm hit.

I am in a location where one of the worse hurricanes to hit the US completely destroyed our town. LE and local/state/national guard said if you are out without proper ID and especially at night you would be dealt with on-sight!
I really don’t know, I’ve never been there. I remember reading it in the local newspaper when I was young. It made the headlines because it was so cold.

This did happen but it's isolated to a particular neighborhood in Buffalo.
That doesn't excuse it but portraying the entire city as collapsing into chaos is inaccurate.
Not soon enough, the depravity and suffering are still localized. I believe there will be a widespread suffering before we are called home.
