(NEXSTAR) – As the U.S. continues to see high levels of three viral infections – COVID-19, influenza, and RSV – there’s growing concern over a bacteria that can cause serious illness, especially in children.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it’s tracking a “possible increase in invasive group A strep” among children.
At least 94 people in the United Kingdom, including 24 children, have died from complications caused by a strep A infection. “To my knowledge, we’ve never seen a peak like this at this time of year, at least not for decades,” microbiologist Shiranee Sriskandan at Imperial College London told Nature.

Normally, I wouldn’t worry too much about strep since it’s treatable with antibiotics.
However, there’s the rub. The US has short supplies of some of the most common antibiotics, and guess where a lot of our supply is made.

I surmise the lockdowns, masks, isolating children, and slathering everyone and every thing with sanitizers has so weakened the collective immune systems this was inevitable. As soon as the governor graciously allowed schools to open every kid, and all their parents got sick.
And who knows what the ‘vaccines” have done to every one’s immune system.

My uncle was recently hospitalized for almost a week. He’s recovering at home, but four home health workers come to his home daily to care for him, including eight hours of daily oxygen.
He caught the flu from his grandson, which turned into a serious case of pneumonia. He’s in his seventies and is diabetic, which puts him into the high risk category. His twenty year old grandson survived the flu with no problems.
I believe the weather is a factor in making people sick, at least here in Alabama. A couple of weeks ago, our weather was unseasonably warm. This week the wind chill has been below zero. The prediction for New Year’s Day is seventy degrees. The roller coaster temps aren’t good for preventing viruses.
Very few people around here are wearing masks and there are no mandates.
The Deep State and the Media (but I repeat myself) refuse to give up the fearmongering.

The jabs have weakened many immune systems. The “winter of death” Biden mentioned is on its way, but not because of Covid, and not to the people who didn’t get the jabs and boosters.
