Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw is detailing why he voted against the $1.7 trillion omnibus package on Friday, paving the way for President Joe Biden's signature after the monster legislation was passed in the U.S. Senate. He's also calling claims lawmakers didn't have enough time to read the legislation an "excuse" for voting against it, arguing there are much better reasons why the bill should have been opposed.

Merry Christmas everyone. Appears merrier for some of the recipients of the largess of the on-the-bus pork bill. Have an awesome day with friends and family. πŸŽ…πŸ€ΆπŸŽ„

In the meanwhile add another 1.7 log on to the inflationary blaze. Kinda warming, isn’t it?

“Looks like Eyepatch McCain wants to run for senate.”

Yep, and it will be against Cruz in 2024, assuming that Cruz doesn’t read the tea leaves (he’s toast in November 2024 anyway, for being such an idiot, like going to Mexico).

The question becomes whether someone else will join the fun, maybe someone credible, like Dan Patrick.

“Looks like Eyepatch McCain wants to run for senate.”

After what he’s done and said do you think he could get re-elected?

People were pointing this out as a reason (a very good one) for voting against it...but you do you, Crenshaw.

LOL, a different Dan Patrick. A guy who worked himself to the #2 spot, Lt. Governor, WITHOUT any help from the Uniparty, or any money to speak of.

"Looks like Eyepatch McCain wants to run for senate."

Like Kevin McCarthy, who wants to be Speaker, Crenshaw and McCarthy both voted to send $40 billion to Ukraine in March, then both voted against the Omnibus Bill.

“Ok. The only one I was aware of was the sportscaster guy”

Understandable. I no longer even follow sports (you might say I’m ‘taking a knee’ instead), and I keep hearing his name too! I’m like: “Wow, the guy can multi-task!”

” he voted against the $1.7 trillion omnibus package on Friday, paving the way for President Joe Biden’s signature “

Talk bad writing. So him voting against the bill paved the way for Biden signing it? We are seeing more and more evidence of the lack of basic grammar and composition being taught.
