Republicans DO wish to be the "Loyal Opposition", a permanent weak-sister to the ruling DemonRatz.

And why not?

As the lesser party they enjoy all the perks but none of the responsibilities.

Nice job if you can get it!

we the people will have to forge our destinies in the trials to come.

We may have to do what's necessary and hope that We The People are on the juries of those trials.

This is the lowest I have ever felt politically.

I thought 2020 was bad, but the RINOs only conspired with Rats against one man.

2022 showed without a doubt that RINO traitors are happy to lose Congress, governorships, SOS, AGs and legislatures in order to defeat MAGA candidates.

Rats are not the number one enemy. RINO traitors are. If it were not for RINO traitors, the Rats would have no power. Trump would still be president, and that ignoramus who couldn't define what a woman is would not be on SCOTUS.

What is even worse is that if the base leaves we still lose. But since we lose either, is there any incentive to stay? Electing RINOs doesn't make us winners.

But leave the Republican Party is what I am about to do.

Except for the occasional outsider (Trump, DeSantis) two sides of the same coin. It’s how power and influence is offered.

"If it were not for RINO traitors,

.

Infuriating - because it is true.
The GOP WANTS TO LOSE.

...could not agree with you more.....was it the late social commentator Will Rogers who (supposedly...) said, “I don’t belong to any organized political party - I’m a Republican”....if he did not say that, then I stand corrected...but somebody said that...! the republican party today sucks...plain and simple.....

“But leave the Republican Party is what I am about to do.”

Perhaps you, but not me, as I FULLY UNDERSTAND the Democrats and their plans for this country (which would make Stalin blush), and sadly the Republicans are the only ones who can stop them, or at least slow them down. I just wish the bunch that runs the party would be replaced.

2022 showed without a doubt that RINO traitors are happy to lose Congress, governorships, SOS, AGs and legislatures in order to defeat MAGA candidates.

It showed without a doubt that MAGA is a third party - despised by the two major parties because it has completely different goals.

Kari Lake ran in Arizona as a "Republican" but the GOP wanted Karrin Taylor Robson and has never stopped trying to sabotage Lake. Robson would have easily defeated Katie Hobbs with full Republican Party support - but the GOP would rather have Hobbs as Governor than cede any influence within the party to an outsider like Lake.

Can we call them "RINO traitors", or are they just mainstream Republicans protecting their insider status?

The core of this is understanding conservatism.

It is build the wall
It is Drain the Swamp
It is America First In All Things
It is Pro 2nd Amendment
It is Pro Life

It is most decidedly not

Cut Taxes
Reduce Spending
Support Global Military Adventures with no direct US interest

There is no point in a taxes or spending focus because that is measured in a substance, money, created by the Fed from nothingness. How can whimsy define ideology.

No, the key is Drain The Swamp. This means reject essentially all incumbents. It takes only a year or two in Washington to become a Swamp monster, so all incumbents have to go.

Odds of this . . . poor.

Will Rogers said that about Democrats. Republicans are actually very organized - but that organization creates individuals like Mitch McConnell who excel at tactics but lose sight of the point of conservative governance.

A pox on them.

After 50 years of voting for R’s, I’ve come to believe that 50% of “REPUBLICANS” are really “DEMOCRATS”.

So, if I’m right, what good does the Republican Party do Trumpsters (some 80-100 million of us).

It’s time to ditch the Republican Party and start up the Constitution Party. My God things can’t get any worse! What the hell difference does it make? The REPUBLICANS can’t win and don’t want to win so to hell with them!

I say FY to those Republican Senators that voted for the 1.7 trillion of stolen taxpayer money.
