Schools are exactly where a licensed and trained Concealed Carrier is needed most today. These would be the parents or authorized guardians of their children who go to the school.
Notifying the principal might be a good idea. My daughter did that and had the principal tell her that she too was “carrying” K-6th grade school.
My daughter and myself discovered an extremely dangerous security breach in a wire fence on their playground, right next to a jogging trail. Got that sealed up very quickly.
If you see something, say and do something to the best of your ability but do it Immediately. “”The child you save might be your own””!!!
i prefer strung up.
In your bathroom by yourself they would approve. They don’t want us protecting ourselves and our families while they let the murderer rapists loose on us all
If memory serves, concealed carry had been legal in Utah since the mid 90s.

I’ve never heard of any incident of a licensed CCW holder committing a mass shooting in a Utah school.
Those of us who have the permits who are not the problem.
I was referring to inside the school...
“...licensed and trained Concealed Carrier...”
Is that not what an SRO and designated teachers would be???
Read my post #23...
Next North Carolina will pass a law saying that if you are attacked by a gator you must allow him to eat you.
Since double secret probation works, then just make shooting people in a gun-free zone double illegal.
Try to imagine requiring people to provide references in order to register to vote, or to obtain a driver's license, which isn't even a constitutional right. This is in addition to the fees an applicant has to pay, which is akin to paying a "poll tax" in order to vote, which was deemed unconstitutional.
This entire process is obviously designed to create as much friction as possible to discourage law abiding citizens from obtaining carry permits.
It is being challenged in the courts.
Schools?
If they want to up the requirements for carry in schools, fine. But let’s not pretend that citizens of good character trained in their weapons should not be able to deter violent crime in schools.
Courthouses have bailiffs and other security on the premises near the action.
“...citizens of good character trained in their weapons...”
That is what designated teachers and SROs should be...
You don’t agree that more is better?
Seems to me the SROs have been absent when needed, and teachers are, as a group, generally unwilling to carry.
The problem I have with schools and courtrooms allowing anyone in CCP or not is that you can’t do a background check on everyone entering a school play or an important trial...
I did not say Courtrooms. I said schools only, with additional training and checks. Like a CHL with a school certification
