Tennessee drag queens are taking on a state bill that will ban their performances in the presence of children.
Republican senator Jack Johnson proposed Senate Bill 3 that aims to restrict drag events that children can easily attend for being sexually explicit....
...The Senate bill refers to drag events as 'adult cabaret performances,' and is filed under 'obscenity and pornography.'
If passed, it 'creates an offense for a person who engages in an adult cabaret performance on public property or in a location where the adult cabaret performance could be viewed by a person who is not an adult.'
Advocates for the drag community argue that the acts are an art form....

Yes. Some decades ago ‘sophisticated’ NYC cabarets (where no children were admitted) featured ‘female impersonators’.playing the part of famous female entertainers. Time has progressed to what can only be called freak shows.
They should never have had access to children.

Calif. has a law prohibiting exposing children to gun advertisements. The principle is the same.

My comment on this is always: “Where are the parents?” Why are adult women taking their children to this garbage. I think any parent who takes their minor children to one of these “shows” should have their children removed from their custody.
Performances in the presence of children.
That’s child abuse the kids need to be removed from a parent that takes one there.
Some people wonder why some kids are so messed up at such a young age.
