According to a recent McLaughlin poll, former President Donald Trump continues to enjoy a strong lead among potential GOP primary candidates; 77% of likely primary voters say they would support him again.

Among likely Republican primary voters 61% want to see Donald Trump run for president again in 2024. That’s the same result we had on Nov. 8, 2022 in our exit poll.
If Donald Trump runs again in 2024, 77% of likely primary voters say they would support him again. The same result as our 2022 election exit poll.
In a field of 14 candidates, among likely primary voters, Trump leads with 48%. Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., is second at 23%, followed by former Vice President Mike Pence 5%, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., 4%, former governor of South Carolina and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley 3%, Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah 2%, and all others at 1%.
Since the election 2022 exit poll, Trump is up a point and Gov. DeSantis is down 4%. In a head-to-head matchup, among likely primary voters, Trump leads DeSantis 58% to 36%.
Among these likely Republican primary voters, 59% think that Donald Trump is better positioned to beat Joe Biden in 2024 for president.
The poll of 1,000 likely U.S. voters was conducted between Dec. 9-14, 2022.

After 2+ years of these Democrat misfits, I’d guess Trump’s numbers are higher than that.
Trump’s basically still got the advantage of an incumbent President going into the 2024 primaries. Only an idiot (or someone taking a payoff to commit career suicide) would want to get in the shark tank with him.

DeSantis is down because a lot are disgusted he isn’t waiting until 2028.

As Rush often stated, the only poll that really counts is on election day. Rush also educated us about how pollsters will say, do anything for their preferred candidate until just before the actual election. Many of the early polls are 50% democRAT, and 20% Republican, the independent or undecided. Then they will perform a real poll near to the election,p to be able to state later that they were correct, or close.
Also, the only way Obama gathered the crowds anywhere near to what Trump can do 24/7 was to dovetail on the end of a rock concert. If you took the time to look into the crowd, many were leaving, many more were stoned, just like Obama. The crowds outside of a present day Trump rally dwarf the Obama / Biden Regime.
Since Biden couldn’t campaign, and he knew the fix was in, he just remained in the basement.

Yep. You can add her 2 percent to Joe Biden. They are registered republicans who are the most liberal.
No. He’s doing his job. He’s letting others with no job worry about 2024.
No, and that is worse. He knows he is being put forward and instead of shutting it down once and for all he is letting it ride and allowing a split in the party.
