Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams‘ campaign owes more than $1 million to vendors following her second failed attempt to win the state’s governorship, according to a new report.
Despite raising more than $100 million during her campaign, Ms. Abrams, hailed by many in her party as an organizing and voter-mobilizing star, has left her 180 former campaign staffers in a lurch by cutting off their pay a week after the Nov. 8 election, according to the political news website Axios.
“People have told me they have no idea how they’re going to pay their rent in January,” a former staffer told Axios. “It was more than unfortunate. It was messed up.”

Go look at what she paid in legal fees to the lawyer reputed to be her lesbian lover.
That’s a large stack ‘o’ pancakes. Enough to almost fill the gap.
I would say she’s a grifter, but with that amount of cash, she’s a grafter.
More correctly, she’s a Black grifter.
And buying those plus size clothes must be expensive too.
I think a lot of those people expected to get some appointed job in the Georgia Government , if Stacey won the election.
So now her campaign workers are having to get a real job. Apparently they are shocked and awed at the idea that they have to go and get an actual job.
Yes it does make you wonder about the the Judgment or reasoning ability of people on those campaigns.
It’s not like the Stacey Abrams for governor campaign is a permanent job.
I wonder if they were promised somehow that they would still get paid through January or some period of time after the election. But now Stacy is in debt so there’s no money to pay people.
Maybe Stacy could do some fundraising dinners to raise money to pay her employees??
🤣
Naw, man!
With that kind of cash she’s chowing down at the Golden Skillet all you can eat buffet!
Go in for the lower priced breakfast buffet and stay for the lunch buffet.
That’s the Stacey Abrams way!
How much of it went to pay the mules?
