Former Vice President Mike Pence said Monday on FNC’s “America Reports” that he hoped former President Donald Trump is not criminally charged for his actions surrounding January 6, 2021.
Pence said, “But let me be very clear about this point. Congress has no formal role in Justice Department decisions, so they can make recommendations today. But when it comes to the Justice Department’s decision about about about bringing charges in the future, I would hope that they would not bring charges against the former president. I don’t look, I as I wrote in my book, I think the president’s actions and words on January 6 were reckless. But I don’t know that it’s criminal to take bad advice from lawyers, and so I hope the Justice Department is clear.”
Anchor Dana Perino said, “There might be criminal referrals on that, too. Well, so we’ll see on that.”

In watching the committee members make their individual reports; not a one spoke his or her own minds, the narrative was all written by aides and the dummies just read what was placed in front of them.
Pence is so lucky that it was a fake insurrection…what a sucker.
If there is an indictment Pence will be subpoenaed and will have to tell the truth under penalty of perjury. Maybe he’s worried.
Even an idiot like Pence realizes that any indictment and prosecution of Trump is very likely to lead to a civil insurrection, so he’s hoping to escape any blame should things ever come to that. Pence is an irrelevant entity now within Republican circles, he is only of value to the Dems as part of the anti-Trump resistance.
Pence does not underestimate Trump, unlike many people (here on FR).
He knows Trump is the ultimate troll. Sun Trump level trolling. To Trump, getting indicted and put in jail will be a troll that will send people into fhroes of despair for our next election- another downside to pretending elections matter.
To this guy, Trump getting arrested is another step in the takedown of him and his disgusting associates.

Pence is named in the Brunson lawsuit currently sitting in the hopper at SCOTUS. If the court were to hear the case and decide for the plaintiffs Pence would be banned from ever holding elected office again. The defence attorneys have notified the court that they will not put on a defense so Pence better pray the court takes a pass.

If it was criminal to take bad advice from lawyers, the entire country would be in jail, cause that’s what is congress by large.
He thinks 2020 was a legitimate election.
Pence knows that it will strengthen Trump.
And, that the SCOTUS will overturn any conviction.
He rubbed elbows with Schumer and Pelosi, either during, before or after the certification. No matter when, those images illustrated whose side he was on.
