Democrats are racing to release information about former President Donald Trump's taxes before Republicans take control of Congress early next year.
Politico reported Friday that the House Ways and Means Committee will meet privately Tuesday at 3 p.m. to review the tax documents and vote on whether all or a portion of Trump's tax returns will be publicly released.
After a lengthy legal battle, House Ways and Means Committee Chair Richard Neal got his hands on Trump's tax returns in November....
...They consist of Trump's personal returns and returns from eight business entities, Politico said.
Democrats believe they're on solid legal footing to release the returns if the committee takes a vote....

While it was outright falsehoods regarding both guns and automobiles that woke me up (decades ago) to the fact that the media is completely uninformed and biased, on every single issue that I have ever had personal knowledge about, the media has gotten it wrong. I know quite a bit about the tax code and business, and the only media outlet that gets any of that right is the Wall Street Journal. I fully expect outright lies, and the elimination of any facts that might make Trump look like an ordinary businessman taking very ordinary deductions.

Nanzi needs to be told, in no uncertain terms, that this WILL happen, along with an investigation into all of her and her husband’s business affairs since she entered Congress, if she allows this.
The IRS is the enforcement office and they have already audited these returns and found nothing.
The democrat ploy serves no legal purpose.
They are only trying to find some juicy gossipy item, even if legal, to slander Trump.
And these returns are already being leaked to CNN, WaPo. Etc.

Given President Trump’s wealth and life style, I’m sure the IRS, using their top analysts, have gone through these tax returns multiple times with a fine tooth comb.
In this case, I trust the IRS much more than some congressional jackleg committee. From a legal standpoint, I doubt there is much to see.
That’s right. If our side ever tries anything like that “Republicans” sanctimoniously declare that all laws and rules must be followed to the letter.
That goes for everything. This has been going on for decades, and many pretend and gaslight that it hasn’t.

There are no more Constitutional rights. Not since the 16th Amendment was “ratified.”
That Amendment nullifies the 1st, 4th, 5th and 14th Amendments, and as such essentially nullifies everything the Constitution once stood for.
We are all indentured servants to our Federal massah now.

I’m curious to see trumps taxes. At least to see what he’s worth that would be interesting from here to year. See what he makes and his tax rate.

I remember a photo with Trump on 4-14-17 signing his tax returns—The stack next to his left elbow was over 24” tall.
