Jane Fonda took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal her cancer is in remission.
“Last week I was told by my oncologist that my cancer is in remission and I can discontinue chemo. I am feeling so blessed, so fortunate. I thank all of you who prayed and sent good thoughts my way. I am confident that it played a role in the good news,” the actress wrote.

“Only the Good Die Young”
-Billy Joel
Blessed? As if she believes in God.
Only the good die young. Hanoi Jane will probably live to be 100.
Was I asking? I must have forgot.
That said, I would never, ever (ever) wish Hanoi Jane the merest of a "good thought".
I thank all of you who prayed and sent good thoughts
That is a troubling statement. It's a very New Agey mix of Christianity and mysticism. As if "sending good thoughts" can heal.
I did apply for a beer concession near her grave site, but was denied due to no standing.
She’s 84. What’s left is between her and God
I read that as “career” at first. I’ll stick with that.
Now, SUDDENLY, she announces it's IN REMISSION.
Hopefully this is NOT some type of publicity stunt by her publicist to keep her "show business relevant."
n the bright/positive side, keeping her alive and around provides a clear concept of where the beginnings of the now-completed communist conquest of the United States of America began...
When you exist under the heel of dark tyranny, as we now do, it is important to have something evil to focus all your hate and loathing on...
I am thankful she is still alive...
OTOH, she remains on the gallows list for the next post-revolutionary period...
Didn’t she give a note to the North Vietnamese that was handed to her by an American POW?
Sorry to hear this.
She should get boosted, definitely boosted.
“I wonder how many Vietnam Vets “sent good thoughts” her way”?
This VN combat vet doesn’t.
In remission? Damn. I thought she was heading to Hell.
“Didn’t she give a note to the North Vietnamese that was handed to her by an American POW”?
Yes, she did.
And when an American POW spoke to her, she said to him that he needed “...an attitude adjustment”. The North Vietnamese interpreted that as a suggestion that he should be disciplined and they brutally did just that.
