Steve Bannon is not taking kindly to former President Donald Trump’s self-described “major announcement” that he’s now selling non-fungible tokens.
Trump teased the move on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, saying in a video, “America needs a superhero.” The video shows an image of Trump wearing a superhero outfit underneath his suit and fire shooting out of his eyes.
On Thursday, Trump revealed his NFT collection, which drew widespread mockery and criticism – even from conservatives.
“Teasing NFT cards as a major announcement is not the kind of fight people want to see now,” one tweeted. “These are dark times. Love the guy but this turns many off.”
Later in the day Bannon – a former White House adviser to Trump – panned the development on his show War Room on the Right Side Broadcasting Network.

I agree with him. This is a stunt that will not go away. Trump is done...finished...past history.
He’s probably pissed off he missed out on buying them. They sold out within hours and it is being reported that their value has skyrocketed since.

Don’t know but he could be trolling Hunter Biden (selling his “art” for hundreds of thousands of dollars).
or, perhaps he is simply trolling those that give lip service support for him but are willing to abandon him when the going get tough.
or, President Trump is playing the part of the stalking horse before the 2024 election season, taking all the hate from the left so another candidate can build support quietly behind the scene.
And that matters? I don’t get it.

Not that it matters any more — there is no path to victory for a Republican president ever again — but Trump has been losing me more and more. This is just another in a long line of stupid stunts.
Don’t you get tired of making possible excuses for Trump? It is sickening to watch the Trump fiasco and meltdown before our eyes.
I like Trump and all he has done for the country but I don’t understand what the purpose of this is. Is he broke? Is he just trolling? It just seems to cheapen the Trump brand.
Yep. The appearance of shilling “Trump Superhero” NFTs is anything but presidential.
