I would pay way more than a dollar to make that come true. As a society I mean. I have been living that reality for years. My godson has been pretending to be a girl since he was 18, and he is now 32 years old. Still living in his moms back bedroom, in an 600 sq ft home, and playing the part of a pre-adult female. I describe the house to illustrate how poorly my sister lives to support and pay for his insane delusion.

There will be many times when the person applying for a job is gay AND is better qualified. That’s fine. That person should get the job. That’s great. It’s merit.

I’m sorry to hear about your godson. I knew this transgender stuff was going on but it didn’t truly sink in until it hit my extended family. At that time, I found out the schools were covering it up, not informing the parents, and when the family member went for help, the mental health wack jobs aka therapists and psychologists “affirmed” the delusion and recommended transition as the only “approved” treatment.
The news about transgenderism needs to get out before more people are destroyed by this evil nonsense. I have zero doubt that transgenders are suffering from mental disorders and many likely were abused at some point. Regardless, we don’t affirm people in their delusions. That’s medical malpractice and downright evil, but if you tell them that body acceptance is the only sane solution, they will tell you you’re the problem. If you don’t affirm, they will kill themselves.

Once upon a time, homosexuality was at least on paper a disqualifier for military service or holding any level of security clearance.
