No, it’s support for the GOP that has plunged.

It’s funny how people fight change in industry and other parts of their daily lives. But when it comes to politics, well people lust for change. It’s because politics is so bad.

Who would it’s for more masking, lockdowns, bumpstock bans, Syrian immigrants, mail in ballots and a vax to save us all.
More freedom lost to the dems under him, than in my lifetime.
If you are ready to surrender our last round, last weapon, be my guest. Te dems either led him by the nose because he was incompetent or complicit.
Endless dem control, courtesy of a “republican” prez.

So a poll of “republican leaning independents” is our standard now?

Just keep playing the gaslighting game folks

> with most Republican voters saying they’d prefer another candidate to carry on his policies in 2024 <

That’s the key point. With some regret, I’m slowly moving away from Trump. But I’m not moving away from his policies. So I’ll be looking for someone who wants to bring industry back to America, close the border, avoid endless wars, etc.

Let’s hope there’s a fresh candidate like that in 2024.

It is what it is. If his support disappears he will lose in the primaries. If it doesn’t he will win. We’ll see.

Well, how relevant is all of this if DeSantis decides not to run?

If the poll is a teeny-bit accurate, then the barrage of Never-Trump messaging from RINO leaders might be working.

DeSantis will be screwed six ways from Sunday by the Ratz.

The merry ballot thieves will basically roll him EVERYWHERE except Florida. Reference: Kari Lake.

Trump is the only one with a pair BIG ENOUGH to stomp these SOBs.

Amerika cannot take another 4 years of Biden or whatever Dem will be propped up to run for President in 2024.

If DeSantis is the candidate who has the best chance of winning in 2024, I will support him. If, a year from now, polls show Trump to have the best shot at winning, I’ll support Trump.

It matters not to me if Trump or DeSantis is residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave on 1/20/2025. Either one of these two men is far more qualified and far more preferable to any radical leftist that the Dems will run.

The Republican party DOES NOT WANT Mr. Trump to be its nominee.
Exactly how its leadership decides to accomplish this remains to be seen, but my guess is that they will keep him off the primary ballots by any means possible.

Time will tell.

The only term limits being discussed (or implemented) is holding Trump to one term. I’m getting sick of it.
