A Kinder, Gentler Lauren Boebert Seeks Results, Not Rhetoric
RedState ^ | December 12, 2022 | Jerry Wilson

It was close, but the mandatory recount in Colorado’s Third Congressional District election between incumbent Lauren Boebert and Democratic challenger Adam Frisch has reinforced what was already known. Boebert won, but not by a lot — less than 600 votes. In response, Boebert posted a lo-fi thank you video to her Twitter account.

The video shows an unusually subdued Boebert exhibiting a quieter, let’s-get-to-work tone.

Hey, everyone! I am happy to report all the counties in Colorado’s Third District have completed their recount. We’ve won this election as expected, and I’m headed back to represent you in Washington D.C.

I can’t thank you enough for all of your support. I am so thrilled the Republicans will now hold the gavel in the people’s house, and I’m thrilled to be representing you in that majority.

Since the day I announced I was running for Congress, this has been about doing everything I can to help get our country back on track, and put a hard stop to the hard left’s move toward socialism. It’s our responsibility now, and my responsibility personally, to take the opportunity you’ve entrusted me with, and make you proud. To lead with strength. To lead with grace. And, to work hard every day to represent you the very best way I know how.

And, that starts with a promise. A promise to you to be a good listener. To take a deep breath, and help take the temperature down in D.C. After all, the weight this responsibility of being the majority holds requires discipline and targeted focus. It’s time we show how to get real work done for the people. We as Republicans must now prove we deserve to be in the majority, and to stand for the policies that help every American overcome challenges so we can all live

Which means she won by a great amount when you consider the cheating against her.

“The property owner who they leased from would not renew. Spit.”

“I strongly suspect a lot of pressure was applied to get them to not renew that lease.”

I’m ‘nearby’ but have not been able to learn anything about why the lease wasn’t renewed. What happens next with the property will be instructive though. The non-renewal may have nothing to do, or everything to with Boebert.

Thanks for the ping. I’ve been anxious to know that she won.

She’ll continue to fight for us.

Thanks to voter integrity laws, FL which was flooded with people from MI, OH, NY, NJ these past ten years, experienced a Red Wave.

Not believing massive mail in ballots and other chicanery didn’t prevent the same in other states.

I agree, I think there is a whole lot of cheating going on.

But I get it. Losing an election and then complaining that the other side cheated feels childish, unsophisticated, and non statesman like. We know we’re better than this and don’t want to get in the gutter with the slime balls.

But this is deadly serious and for all the marbles. At some point, you have to take off your dinner jacket, break the wine bottle and get to it.

I believe the time for being nice has passed. If we let this go on, there will be serious consequences. I believe camps, if history is any indication.

Never doubt it. The DC concentration jail for the J6 people is a warmup. The DOJ has gotten away with violating all measure of Constitutional safeguards.

Judge Tanya Chutkan, a black Obama token, who sentenced these regular folks to hideous sentences is the American equivalent of Germany’s Roland Freisler.

Key words in sentence...”property owner”...they have every right to not renew lease...for whatever reason. Unless of course you don’t support private property rights now magnum. Not everything is politically related...maybe the owner got a better offer, wants to change the venue, who knows...you or I sure don’t.

I didn’t say the property owner did anything wrong. I just said it was a shame the place closed.

“Exactly correct. Many do not understand the new district cost her most of the advantage as an incumbent.”

The new district is much more competitive then her old district which is why this election was so close.

The explanation circulated in the media at the time was that the landlord would not renew the lease. Certainly his right, but the timing and circumstances indicated something else. So I wouldn’t question his rights. It seems as if there was a ‘reason’ or intent that was other than a business decision.

I have been to the shooters grill only twice driving past Rifle between Denver and Utah. I never met Lauren, but I have a picture with her mom, and the staff that were there mid afternoon, all of us sporting our sidearms. They were a very nice group of people. Sadly, even before the closure, they were getting lots of threat calls, and hate mail.

The landlord may have been also gotten strong armed for all I know.

It’s not even that hard.

You sign the registration just swearing that you’re a citizen - ever hear of anyone actually called on that?

Might be what, 2 people a year in the entire country?

That’s why Biden flies them all over the country: the illegal alien swing vote.
