The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is now recommending that everyone, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, wear masks “at all times when in an indoor public setting,” citing the risks of flu-like illnesses, RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), and the Chinese coronavirus.
The department put out the advisory, which points to “several indications of increased incidence of respiratory viruses in New York City,” late last week.
Flu cases, local officials said, have been increasing since October 29, and flu-like illnesses reportedly “made up 12% of all weekly emergency department visits in NYC” for the week ending shortly after Thanksgiving. Officials also cite an uptick in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.

True factoid: In Michigan the Washtenaw County paid deer herd reduction marksmen had to stand down several times when nerdy young males defiantly sat down in the restricted zones as a protest action. Until they were dragged out by police the deer were safe.
I went to see my woke doctor a couple weeks back for a routine exam to renew a routine prescription. She demanded I wear a mask. When I refused, she said I was putting everyone at risk. So I walked out. I had to go back a few days ago to bring a minor family member to a.m appointment. I refused to go in. The same doctor painfully said I could come in without a mask. The look on her face was priceless.
That was the second appointment I’ve walked out on, the first being my eye doctor, whom I fired for mask tyranny.
When I call to make medical appointments now, I ask if they have a mask mandate. If they do I tell them forget it, I’ll find an office without mask tyranny.
Everyone should say NO to mask notsees, if they don’t want to wear a mask.
