On Friday, a German molecular biologist by trade unveiled a new concept for the world’s first artificial womb facility, EctoLife, which could incubate up to 30,000 babies a year.
“My new concept will be unveiled early December, something that I have been working on for a while,” said Hashem Al-Ghaili in November. “The new concept relies on over 50 years of groundbreaking scientific research.”

Pre born babies need mommy womb. They can benefit from the many changes in a mom’s everyday activities. Baby needs to hear her voice and Dad’s too. Hormones, only produced by Mommy love can bond early..
Screaming siblings set the reality stage early also, avoiding culture shock when born..
Such a baby farm can only produce Democrats.

If they aren’t the scourge of the EARTH, I don’t know what is.
If it happens I’d rather it work out along the lines of Lois McMaster Bujold’s Vorkosigan saga. Her cultures remained family centric and the biological extremes that her “uterine replicator” technology enabled remained marginalized. Of course her writings offer zero real proof things would evolve that way she does offer reasonable speculation from a variety of angles.
This German (with the Teutonic name Hashem Al-Ghaili) biologist sounds like the reproductive biologist’s version of Crypto’s Sam Bankman-Fried or blood-testing’s Elizabeth Holmes.

I knew this article would attract the anti-German bigots. Lots of gratuitous snipes from people still fighting World War Two.
Why are the Germans still fighting human decency.
I know how you in the German community must feel, but it hasn’t been great for the Italian Community either.
But the Germans always seem to come up with weird ways to settle their problems.
It’s all that empirical data.
The decay is throughout the West. Nothing uniquely German about it.

I'm not German. I'm of East European heritage. My ancestors were victims of Stalin more so than Hitler.
Even so, I've never confused Russians with Communists, or Germans with Nazis. I admire both the Russian and German people (and Brits and many other European peoples).
