Yeah, I’m liking the fact that we have some moisture in the air. It feels so much better on the skin than our desert air.
I can’t believe how much rain you’ve had! After all the dry spells you’ve had to go through. But...sunshine has to be in that mix somewhere! :)
Darn, I missed part two.
Howdy, E. G.C. ((HUGZ))
Did you and Gizmo have a good run yesterday? Enjoy your KFC supper?
Yep, a little moisture does feel good. It’s been so dry here for months, we were dealing with the dry skin you deal with in the desert and I’m tired of it.
I didn’t expect to see so much rain, based on what they said before it moved in. They didn’t either, apparently, but I’m glad it worked out the way it did.
Most of the country is covered by clouds so it isn’t just me who’s probably longing for some sunshine.
By the end of this week, we’re going to be down into the high 40s. I wish that would include some rain, but I’d be shocked if it happened. I’m not going to complain about the overcast skies, though. It keeps it from being bone dry, and I’m ok with that.
Sooner or later that sun is gonna have to come out, and I hope you get the chance to be out in it. Soak it up, as it were.
Thank you for supplying the links to the earlier parts. I just read parts 2 & 3. It was well-written and had great info.
It sounds like our weather is gong to be pretty much the same this week. You’ll just get it a day before we do.
Can’t say I’m looking forward to it but it IS almost the first day of winter. :-)
At least we aren’t going to be buried by snow like poor Kathy is. See, you can always find the silver lining if you look hard enough. LOL
It does look like it was a pretty good run. Gizmo dragged you all over the place. Bet you had a big appetite ready for that KFC. :-)
Egad. I’d forgotten that it’s nearly officially winter. How time has flown by.
*blink* and it’s another year. I hope it’s better than this one has been!
Yep, time is playing sneaky an slipping by too fast.
I reeeeeeeeeeally hope next year is better than this one has been!
Every time I watch that cam, I feel like I need to add another layer of clothing. I really couldn’t handle it! Kathy is tough!
Guess I’ll finish this show I’m watching and head out. The early morning wake-up is catching up to me. See ya tomorrow!
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you and Gizmo had some good adventures yesterday.
You guys have a great Monday.
I’ve had to put on a flannel shirt over my long-sleeve t-shirt a few times today/tonight. It does tend to give me chills when I see this kind of weather. LOL It’s really bad when I can see the snow whizzing past the red hazard lights. The wind must be brutal in that cold.
I feel for the poor guys on the runway snow plow and de-icing crews. They’ve been busting it to keep the air traffic moving in and out and they HAVE kept it moving.
Get a good, long sleep and enjoy sleeping late. :-)
Glad you got to read the one you missed. And Part 4 is still to come.
Mostly ICE. Tippy seems tolie it. Idon’t.
The Farmers Almanac did say this would be a snowy season this year. Thus far we've escaped the early storms but I'm certain we'll have plenty before winters end.
We're headed into the 20โs tonight....
Stay warm and cozy all you can!
