Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Sunday said it is “valuable” for the U.S. to keep engaging in talks with Russia amid heightened tensions between the two countries and nuclear saber-rattling from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Schiff, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, told “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan on CBS it is important for intelligence heads from both nations to maintain an open line of dialogue with the war in Ukraine raging.

Merkel and Austin already let the truth out. The Minsk agreements were merely ploys to buy time to build the Ukrainian Army up with the intent to unleash it this year on the Donbass and Crimea.
Putin recently said the US is incapable of making deals they intend to stick to now. I think he is right.
Our criminal government only sees negotiations and talks as a dishonest method of manipulation. It is never an honest effort to come to a deal that addresses both sides needs.
This is why they hated Trump so much.

The logic is overwhelming that they’ll collectively come to realize who their friends are. It will sink in who sabotaged Minsk II. It will sink in who orchestrated the Maidan Coup and it will sink in who destroyed the gas pipelines. It will sink in that fighting the Russians is a very bad idea.
It will sink in that Russia was meeting their obligations to supply sufficient quantities of vital natural resources to them at fair prices via long term contracts.
It will sink in that it is in their best interest to sever ties with the US and I believe it will happen by way of popular demand.
That is exposed as a lie by our own leaders right up to Biden, who said the policy of the USA is to bring down the Russian government and install someone to our liking. We are working morning noon and night to surround them with armed forces right on their borders, throw CIA color revolutions, and to destroy their economy. we blew up their 11billion dollar pipeline and stole 500 billion of their cash and gold on deposit with western banks.
If that isn’t threatening their survival I don’t know what is.

Average Europeans are going to come to realize the US does not have the ability to fight Russia, except on social media and fake news, and the goodwill earned by the Marshall Plan has reached it’s limit.

I disagre. putin was under no threat from the West. None. He has 6,000 nukes! The largest country in the world by land mass and the 2nd largest military. No one was threatening russia, and certainly not Ukraine.
putin is a known liar. He is trying to expand. He wants an empire. putin *is* the threat. How does attempted genocide in Ukraine make him safe?
