I dont know how anyone can stay with that party, it tells me they must have some kind of mental issue. It’s obvious to anyone with half a brain the Democratic party is all about destroying the USA, there is nothing this damn party does that is positive and I assume all these democrats in Congress live in the USA, so why they hell are they crapping where they live? Because they’re crazy.

If she would join the republicans, she would have a good chance at reelection if they would endorse her as the 2024 republican nominee. Otherwise, I expect the current Governor to file for the Republican nomination and be the favorite to win the seat.

“Slams party” Yeah right, she is still going to caucus with the rats so it is nothing but a self serving move that protects her in the Primary.

So her self interest is not served within the Democrat Party. What’s not to like about that? If you’re waiting for high-minded people to leave for high-minded motives, you’re not in DC. Self service is the currency they trade in, and they no longer have a majority, because they couldn’t keep her on board.

My main point is it changes nothing because she will continue to caucus and vote with the rats. They keep their majority status and now she is immune from being knocked out by the primary. A smart move to protect her flank but nothing for us to be thrilled about aside from a possible vote split in the 24 AZ Senate race.

It changes nothing tangible if she continues to caucus with Dems. But the most important things are intangible. And if and when she breaks with Dems on any point, they have to bring out Kamala and parade her in public like a prize jack-ass. And they know that, and that gives them indigestion. Every time she votes with them, they still look at her sideways, wondering how long until she breaks with them on any point.

That is a nuanced and accurate assessment. I think it’s fair to say they already looked at her exactly that way after She and Manchin stopped the rats from killing the filibuster. The rats thought they had the reboot in their hands until that.

The more they harass her in the bathroom, and look at her sideways, the further away they’ll drive her. Manchin’s next. Just takes one rift in a string for the beads to start cascading out.
