Senator Mitch McConnell asserted that pain old void sportsmanship drove the GOP to concede promptly in the face of what is obviously an inevitable Bidden win. “The American people have nothing to gain by us dragging this out in the face of the obvious,” said McConnell. “We congratulate the President on his election to a second term, and look forward to working with him in service of all Americans.”
