Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Tuesday urged members of her party to stop discouraging early voting and vote by mail.
“Our voters need to vote early,” McDaniel told Fox News. “I have said this over and over again. There were many in 2020 saying, ‘Don’t vote by mail, don’t vote early.’ And we have to stop that and understand that if Democrats are getting ballots in for a month, we can’t expect to get it all done in one day.”
Former President Trump was among the leading voices that questioned the security and validity of early and mail voting in 2020, baselessly claiming they allowed for fraud and rigged the election against him.
An RNC spokesperson later sought to clarify that the chairwoman was not speaking about the former president in her comments to Fox News.

Trump should back 80m by election day and aim for 95m total. Probably what is needed. He can make it a one day election by being even by election day. He’ll certainly win on turnout

It seems election season and not election day, disparate and unequal voting methods, electoral complexity, and lack of verifiable oversight over elections are now all with us forever.

I have to admit, when they democrats lose an election, they retool and more forward. 2016 was an example of this, they create the russia collusion distraction in the media while their foot soldiers were out creating the 2018 ground game that took back the house for them, then they did the same in 2020 and stopped the 2022 bleed from turning into a red wave.
They were smart, they played a smart game while our side is whining “StoLEn eLEctionS!
We need more winning and less whining

Whining isn’t winning
Sure if we can make a legal case to get this or some of it overturned, do it.
But if we can’t, we need to play by the rules and win. Even if we don’t like the rules
Red states will improve the election process.
Blue states will make them worse. They have no incentive to clean them up.
I don’t see a problem with early voting.
I see a problem with unchecked, mass mailed, absentee ballots, with no real signature verification and absolutely no system to check for multiple state voting, dead voting.
You can’t have early voting, without early registration cutoffs and complete voter roll checks.
Careful. That kind of talk upsets a lot of Apple carts around here.

It's an amazing coincidence that only Democrats and GOPe candidates "over perform" wherever "shall issue" mail in ballots and early voting are implemented !
I might be more receptive if the RNC came out and said “We need to cheat the vote just like the DEMs do.”
Rules are not rules, if they don't apply equally to both sides.

Agreed. Even Trump himself has voted early and by mail.
I do, its much easier to determine how to credibly manipulate election results when you have a real sample of the outcome days to weeks in advance.
Early in person voting follows the same rules as on the day in person voting (unlike mail-in voting).
