Who needs to "defend" it? War is hell! Besides we need to use it in real world to study it. Tests are just tests! Why are the dumbest people always the ones to try to claim superiority to others\? Besides...I love big explosions...that's reason enough!!

Not the one you are on. I read what he said and I saw ZERO threats. It takes a hell of a nerve pointing fingers at Russia, the country that has NOT used nukes, from the country that HAS used nukes.
A flimsy excuse I’ve seen you people make is that the US waited three whole days before nuking Japan. Here are quotes from what Putin actually said and it is very much in line with what he’s said in the past. I presume you are going by the interpretation from “Fox and Friends”.
“We didn’t speak about usage of nuclear weapons.” Then, he said: “Russia has not gone mad.”
“We have the most advanced weapons, but we do not want to wave it around.”
“Yes, we will do this by various ways and means. First of all, of course, we will focus on peaceful means, but if nothing else remains, we will defend ourselves with all the means at our disposal,” Putin said.
1. Russia is not ‘defending itself’ in their attacks on Georgia and Ukraine.
2. Typical Putin. Says he’s not making nuclear threats just before he makes a nuclear threat.

I’m not Russian and I reject and condemn the idea that knowing right from wrong is “anti-American” like many of you do. You live your entire lives in old black and white movies, afraid of the truth.
You justify, nuking Japan because there was “no other way”. I presume you also supported every other foreign policy disaster in between Japan and Ukraine. Iraq. Libya. Afghanistan, to name just a few.
The US backed a coup in 2014 and interfered with Minsk I and Minsk II. The US has been arming Ukraine to the teeth and has created a national security threat on Russia’s border.
Russia is demilitarizing the area now and there is nothing the US can do about that. Your view of the world is wrong and opinions like yours are being rejected because they are of no legitimate benefit to anyone.
Normal people don’t commit mass suicide like the Japs did while we were knocking on their door. Truman made the right decisions! Deal with it little buttercups!

We are in a different horrible place. I’m going to step away for a while, maybe a day, maybe a month. Health issues to take care of.
