This was most likely Sergey the chain-smoking Russian soldier who caused this fire.

He was aboard the Moskva and dropped a cigarette, then he was in Crimea and dropped his cigarette in two places.

Then when leaving Crimea he dropped his cigarette on a truck crossing the bridge and boom the bridge went.

Then he dropped his ciggies in different munitions and chemical weapon factories in Russia.

he really gets around..... /sarc

Explosions hit two military airfields in Russia - reports

The Moscow times 3 Killed, Nuclear-Capable Bombers Likely Damaged in Russian Airfield Explosions

Another Russian Telegram channel, Baza, which regularly posts insider information about the country’s government and military, reported that a flying object – presumably a drone – crashed into the base’s runway, damaging two aircraft and injuring two people.

Local news outlet Saratov24 reported that residents of the nearby towns Engels and Saratov heard a loud explosion coming from the direction of the airbase. Several videos of the explosion have been posted on social media, Saratov24 claims.

The second explosion reported at Dyagilevo was caused by a fuel truck, according to the Russian state news agency TASS. Another news agency, RIA Novosti, said two people died and six were injured in the explosion.

good enough for ya?

Legitimate targets.

“Seems a legitimate target to me.”

Whether legit target or not, these attacks on Russian territory done with the assistance of the US & NATO will likely draw us directly into this war. How long do you think Russia will hold back from widening this war further if they are being attacked on their own territory? Why are some on here cheering for WW3?

Russia will just continue taking out Ukrainian infrastructure until most of the civilian population flees the country, further burdening Europe with the cost of caring for them. I see no positive outcome for any of the sides in this.

>>Update: Up to 13 TU-95’s at Engles were damaged or destroyed today.

“Up to 13” is totally consistent with 2.

Why does it have to be foreign special ops, why not Ukrainian?

If the US was at war, how would we react if a SAC base was hit?

🇷🇺 ⚡️On the morning of December 5 this year. The Kiev regime, in order to disable Russian long-range aircraft, made attempts to strike with Soviet-made jet unmanned aerial vehicles at the military airfields “Dyagilevo” in the Ryazan region and “Engels” in the Saratov region.

◽️ Ukrainian UAVs flying at low altitude were intercepted by the air defense of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

◽️ As a result of the fall and explosion of fragments of jet drones at Russian airfields, the outer hulls of two aircraft were slightly damaged.

◽️ Three Russian technical servicemen who were at the airfield were fatally wounded.

◽️ Four more injured servicemen were taken to medical facilities, where they were provided with all the necessary medical assistance.

◽️ Despite the attempts of the Kiev regime to disrupt the combat work of the Russian Long-Range Aviation with a terrorist act, today at about 15.00 (Moscow time) a massive strike was carried out on the military command and control system and related facilities of the defense complex, communication centers, energy and military units of Ukraine with high-precision air and sea based weapons.

◽️ All the 17 assigned strike targets and objects were hit.

◽️ As a result of the strike, the transfer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reserves, foreign weapons, military equipment and ammunition to the combat areas by rail was disrupted

We would still be at war...was that some trick question?

Russia started this. Did they think they were so high and mighty that no one would dare to counter strike?
