Sooner or later someone, if not Donald Trump, is going to have to start a second party.
Appearing on CBS with Margaret Brennan, incoming House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner walks through the priorities of the new HPSCI committee, to include that President Trump is horrible, Ukraine President Zelenskyy is awesome, Joe Biden is doing an awesome job and Ukraine needs more U.S. money and weapons.
If you listen closely, you might even catch the part where Mike Turner says he is working swimmingly with current HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff and current Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Mark Warner. Yes, folks, you just cannot make this stuff up. Ms. Brennan is absolutely smitten with Mr. Turner, he’s an acceptable republican

Utter mischaracterization. He emphasized that the Maralago raid was not vetted by anyone other than a glorified librarian. He wants answers about how it happened, and he’s not yet blaming individuals, prior to a risk assessment.
He expressed concern about what Trump meant by measures beyond the Constitution. Trump DOES need to explain this. It’s certainly GRAVELY injurious to people being falsely accused of insurrection on Jan 6 for the man they were trying to support then sounds like MAYBE he supports insurrection? I know someone from Jan 6 who insists he was acting in support of the Constitution, so any talk of acting outside of the Constitution screws him over royally.
Until its clear what Trump meant, Turner CAN’T give unqualified support... but while he was pretty unequivocal in condemning the Fuentes dinner, he slapped back at the ludicrous idea the journalist tried to plant that Fuentes could have gained access to classified documents.
Not only that, Trump has now completely screwed over Kari Lake, Herschel Walker and Elon Musk.

That sounds right. I wonder if McCarthy will actually remove Schiff IF he becomes speaker? They really need to turn that sham January 6th committee on the Dims and grill everyone who was allowed to give their unquestioned and unchallenged testimony against President Trump for months on end.

Republicans argue that Schiff, Omar and Swalwell have each done something disqualifying to warrant the punishment. McCarthy said Sunday that Schiff has “lied to the American public time and again” about former President Donald Trump working with Russia during the 2016 election, and thus should not serve on the House Intelligence Committee.
McCarthy said Omar must be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee over her criticism of Israel that some see as antisemitic, and Swalwell should not serve on the House Intelligence Committee because of his association with a Chinese spy.
