They’re taking a huge risk if they think they can go into Crimea. You may be dealing with some crazy people.

And I am not sold on selling out for the Ukraine. Would they fight our wars? Seems they had been selling out to soros, obama, biden, etc., for some time. I am not so sure I trust a damn thing from those corrupt as people. I don’t trust Putin but I don’t trust them either.

Crimea belongs to Ukraine. There is no more risk to retaking Crimea than there was to retaking Kherson.

The US gave about $50 billion to Ukraine - about $25 Bn of it being money for weapons and supplies to conduct the war with Russia, about $10 Bn of it will be used for humanitarian aid — food, medical care, that sort of thing — and $10 Bn of it will be used to help Ukraine keep its government functioning, pay the police, army, civil servants.

In terms of the US military budget it is about 4%.

Most of that money is being spent buying things from American defense contractors. They will ramp up production lines and employ some more people, but most of that money will stay in America and help the economy just a little bit. Ukraine aid package puts about $9 billion toward replenishing US weapons stockpiles.

Ukraine is grinding down the Russians who on their own represent a threat to peace, to our allies, trading partners, and friends in NATO and Europe.

Within Putin’s crosshairs are

Stopping Putin NOW is like France and the UK stopping Hitler in 1938 -- it would have saved thousands if not millions of British and French lives

Stopping Putin NOW saves American lives and secondarily American allies' lives

Finally, it also makes China more cautious and will save American lives elsewhere

Oh and it also shows that America is still the top dog.
