Putin’s Disaster: The Russian Military Is Bleeding to Death in Ukraine

Russian military, the month of November was the deadliest in the war in Ukraine so far. According to the official Ukrainian numbers, the Russian forces lost more than 15,000 troops killed and hundreds of tanks and artillery pieces, and other weapon systems in the past 30 days or so.

Russian Casualties in November in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense assesses that in November alone, its forces killed more than 16,400 troops, which means that the Ukrainians wounded between 32,800 and 49,000 Russians, if we go off from the standard one killed for three wounded formula. Moreover, the Ukrainians claim to have destroyed or captured 371 armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, 286 vehicles and fuel tanks, 216 tanks, 172 artillery pieces, 147 tactical unmanned aerial systems, 134 cruise missiles, 13 anti-aircraft batteries, 12 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), 9 special equipment platforms, 4 fighter, bomber, and transport aircraft, and 4 helicopters. To be sure, the Ukrainian numbers are open to interpretation. But open source intelligence corroborates up to a certain point. Recently, U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley assessed that Russia had lost more than 100,000 troops in the war so far.

Although the Russian forces on the ground are suffering extremely heavy casualties, the Russian leadership doesn’t seem willing to change up its tactics or strategy and keeps on making the same costly mistakes.

A holdover from the Soviet era.

“I mean, you take your average Russki, we all know how much guts he's got. Hell, lookit all them Nazis killed off and they still wouldn't quit.” - General "Buck" Turgidson (Dr. Strangelove)

I don't think that Putin cares about Russian losses. (And he has a lot of nukes. What could possibly go wrong?)

"I ignore the pygmies and nasty assz trolls. Some Freepers cannot handle the truth. How come they don't shut up and post their material?"

It is amazing that 5 idiotic RINOs can create such an incestuous little communist clique on FR (you know who you are). You try to cackle about ignoring other Freeperes but you have to ignore the rest of FR because most of the posts just savage you.

Your sad, little posse should get a hotel room together and consummate your disgusting relationship.

MSN & 19FortyFive; two sources of information I do not trust.

And I am pro-Ukrainian people and anti-Putin invasion.

One more time.

Flak?    ✔
A lot of flak? ✔
Over Target? CONFIRMED

The Putinists really don't like having the bigger picture presented at all. Both sides are taking losses, and Ukraine does not talk about its losses. Looking at Oryx, Russia has had consistently 2 to 3 times as many reported vehicle losses since the war began. It is impossible for Russia to have so much greater equipment losses, without having proportional losses in personnel.

Ukriane started mobilization and training as soon as possible, getting new soldiers trained in UK and other countries. Russia only started mobilization AFTER the Kharkiv Offensive. Then everyone found out Russia's abilities to mobilize and train are even worse than how their military has performed. "Training" areas are holding grounds to hold conscripts before dumping them on the front line. That is not training in how the US Reserves or NATO operates.

Russia has a huge military. They also have military commitments over the rest of Russia, toward NATO, China, and the rest of the Russian border. The Russian army fights by train and truck, so they is a hard upper limit of 200,000 on what they can deploy in Ukraine. Now they have to make up losses of trained personnel, with facilities that are barely adequate for residing, never mind training.

The countries allied against Russia have 6 to 7 times the population, and 20 to 30 times the economic output at the minimum. Russia tank production was dependent on imports from Europe. Russian tank production has ceased and they have to cobble together working 50 year old T-62s out of storage. Ukraine can make up its troop losses, and the US and NATO can make up weapons use, far better than Russia. All the long term are on Ukraine's side .

Russia is moving on a broad front in Donetsk and the Ukrainians are paying a terrible price. Not my opinion. It is the judgment of a neo-Nazi Ukrainian commander:

The commander of the neo-Nazi Svoboda battalion, Petro Kuzik, whose unit is trying to hold Bakhmut, told Western media that the fields and forests around are littered with the corpses of Ukrainian soldiers, and they have to defend themselves in extreme cold and knee-deep in water.

“They [the Russians] sensed a weakness in our defenses because there are units that are less motivated than ours. And yesterday they slightly weakened our defenses in the area immediately around Bakhmut. Some units could not withstand this artillery onslaught and retreated.”

Asked how serious the loss of life is, he said: “They are colossal. We don’t even count the bodies.”

Ukraine can not lose the war! They have the new lazer weapons and Iron Man suits that make them invincible. Russians are fools for not acting like Americans and protesting against all the mountains of bodies inflicted by the Hero-Ukraine Army. How many Millions of Russian Students and children must be drafted and sent to a sure death at the hands or well armed, rocket shooting Ukraine Heroes? Any Russian who sets foot on Ukraine’s sacred land dies! Russia can not win—send more Billions and weapons to sell on the black market. Worry not—The Big Guy will get his 10%

putin invaded a sovereign country thinking that no one would care. I believe if he won’t stop with Ukraine he wins.”

Thank you for your kind words.

I agree Putin has NO INTENTION of stopping with Ukraine. If you don’t want to expose your opinions or deal with these Putinistas, Just message me others do :)

“All I see posted on FR about the Uke/Russia conflict “

This is true.

The Putinistas only comment on Ukraine posts. Very rarely will you see supportive articles posts of the Russian Invasion. I like to believe even Putinista Freepers still have a , moral conservative conscience.

Correct again! LOL
My life is so busy.

Now you know why I say you don’t have to reason with the unreasonable we all know persons who just always want to argue. In other words, don’t waste your time trying to debate them. That only treats them as if they have said something worthy and gives them a forum. They need a rebuke. That may be done best by ignoring or Proverbs 26: 4-5

BTW, for those that have been praying:
12-1-2022 Isabella Grace came into our family at 5#14 & 18 inches. [Typically, the baby gains a pound a week the last month of pregnancy.]

We are so truly thankful for all that have kept my daughter in your prayers. Izzy would have been 4 weeks early instead of just 2 wks!

God is so good!

The reason so many former Soviet states are backing Ukraine is they know they are on Putin's list of dominoes. They have no intent of falling without putting up a fight. For them, that fight is in Ukraine, instead of waiting for it to come to their own borders.
