President Biden "has carefully and cautiously waged war in Ukraine with no American troops." He just "had one of the best first term off-year elections in history." Nancy Pelosi? Ron Klain? Jill Biden?
No. That was Newt Gingrich — leader of the Republican revolution of 1994, which swept him in as speaker of the House.
"Quit Underestimating President Biden," Gingrich wrote in a column this week. "[C]onservatives' hostility to the Biden administration ... tends to blind us to just how effective Biden has been on his terms."
Why it matters: Gingrich has a point. If you look at Biden's legislative accomplishments, he has exceeded expectations for a Congress where Democrats hold narrow majorities, and a country that's split in two.
Gingrich, 79, told me: "I was thinking about football and the clarity of winning and losing. It hit me that, measured by his goals, Biden has been much more successful than we have been willing to credit."

I disagree; he is exactly right.
Plugs, himself, is a doddling old fool who doesn’t know what day it is, but those who RUN the show - are getting EVERYTHING they want done to this country, while he is trotted up before us to run interference.
We joke, we scoff, we point out the lies and corruption, but at the end of the day, THEIR agenda is flying through with no opposition. None.
Trump tried to right some wrongs and had to fight thru a cat 5 hurricane every single day.
Again, we all know Biden isn’t running this show, but whoever is - is succeeding wildly.
Biden’s agenda is getting through but it’s due to cheating at the ballot box. We didn’t ‘lose’ because we didn’t have a message or because we couldn’t turn out voters. The bottom line is the Dems cheat and we don’t. That’s what Newt should’ve said.

I worked hard for a local school board MAGA candidate. I phone banked and canvassed and showed up with him at farmers markets and put up a sign. He won his race by a slim 230 votes. Our leftist school board will now be voting 4-1 instead of 5-0 for the teachers unions. It’s a start. If every GOP voter worked to get out the vote like I did we’d have had a red wave. It’s about ballot harvesting and GOTV efforts.
Lindsay graham dumb ass. And so was Ron Johnson with the Social Security thing. I swear they don’t have a clue on how to win elections. Yes I know they win theirs. but they certainly didn’t help anybody else.
Biden isn’t winning. The deck is stacked so deeply against the truth and conservatives that we don’t know how bad things are. With media manipulation, election trickery, and public apathy and ignorance, we are heading quickly into dark times. Gingrich calls that “winning” because everything is measured by politics in his view.
They are succeding because they are part of a world wide cabal. They rig elections, they install people of their ilk in the judiciary all over the country, they appoint people in all agencies that openly violate all laws and dare you to take them to court, they rule by fiat, open the border, involve and create conflicts in countries all over the world, do most of their tyranny by declaring false emergencies etc.
They aren’t done trying to kill many of us yet. Just wait.
This is why they are successful. This mess will not be fixed at the polls and it is too late to repair all the damage done..

You can’t run the country by listening to Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram make fun of how Biden walks or talks, and “interviewing” silly guests like Leo TUrell (sp).
Biden is being effective and he’s not as out of it as our echo chamber tells us.

Well, I definitely think you’re right about one thing. Ronald Reagan could never get through a GOP primary today.
Reagan followed Carter, so one can say Republicans "won." Clinton followed Reagan, so one can say Republicans "lost." Bush II followed Clinton, so one can say Republicans "won." Obama followed Bush II, so one can say Republicans "lost."
Your point is inane. The GOP hasn't "won" in a significant manner because people like Gingrich -- remember the photo of him and Pelosi on that couch? -- play the "good guy" game. Which seems not to play out consistently.
Being a staunch conservative and against debt and war when we are not attacked, I'd say a GOP which stomachs Romney (think that corrupt Ukraine involvement alongside the corrupt Biden Jr.) and the "meet across the aisle" types like Murkowski and Collins, cannot argue for being the "good guys" any longer. Shaking hands with any devil means shaking hands with a devil.
They could never have done it without the treasonous, Trump-hating RINO bass turds. They will pay for what they’ve done.
