James Williams, 36, opened fire on the robbery suspects as they were fleeing before one fatally shot him in the leg and chest, authorities said
A man accused of killing a California gas station clerk during a "botched" robbery will not face a murder charge because the victim had opened fire on the suspect despite his life not being in danger, officials said Thursday.
James Williams, 36, was killed during an early Saturday morning gunfight with Ronald Jackson Jr., 20, at a Chevron in Antioch, Fox San Francisco reported.
The Antioch Police Department said a gas station employee called to report a person had been shot at the Extra Mile mini-mart just after 2 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head inside the store.

This is probably a case study for US Lawshield.
Everyone should know by now that criminals are actually the victims of a racist society, anyone interfering with their criminal behavior is a racist deserving of being killed.
The threat is here to stay, it is never going to be over.
That may be true but it’s wrong. What happened to fearing for one’s life? There is still a the threat of the robbers returning and finishing you off. The dead guy’s mistake was shooting too late.
+1
Whatever happened to the law where if someone is killed while committing a crime, the criminal is responsible? Yea I know, libs in action.

Add that the decedent was defending his property with deadly force. Where I live that’s perfectly valid.
Stay out of The Freak State. Do not buy Freak State wine.
An unusual situation, some states don’t have a provision to protect property with deadly force. We do in Texas, if it determined that there would be no reasonable way to recover the property otherwise. California needs to change their law. People should be able to protect their money and belongings with whatever force is necessary.
True.
When the county district attorney is an IMPEACHED FORMER JUDGE, you get what you pay for!
This is my little home town.

A simple depiction of the event on the local water tower would be appropriate.
“Little Mehico” wouldn’t call the police. That’s what the dems don’t realize. The Latin illegals don’t believe in rule of law. They never had it, were never protected by anyone but their neighbors and family.
Kill a gang member’s family like that and see if the LA law enforcement is needed.
My advice would be to take a breath, a sight picture, squeeze the trigger, Remain behind cover. The thief should not have had the opportunity to fire back.
This will continue until all people descend on the DA’s office and surround the homes of Judges. If possible, treat them as gentlemanly as auntifa, and BLM does. A few riots wouldn’t hurt, with overturned cars and fires though.
Y’all know the only way out of slavery and tyranny.
