Many of the laws that went into effect were written many decades ago and haven't been taken up again. Some laws are a century old and just went back into effect automatically. Some are a total ban under any circumstance and frankly, you're going to convince a girl that if her father rapes her on her 18th birthday, that she's required to give birth to her half brother. Abortion has been normalized at this point, plus the left has succeeded in making it considered to be a right.
I suspect most of these red states will end up with heartbeat or first trimester laws.
Imagine the abortion debate today if Scotus had not, in 1973, usurped the authority of the states.
There was no widespread demand for abortion in 1973. Ditto for fag marriage in 2015.
