That the deep state wants to indict Trump is not a secret; the purpose is not to just jail a foe but to permanently fracture the Republican opposition.

Some large percent of Trump's base will never vote for any luke-warm Republican if Trump is charged. They may stop voting all together.

That is the deep state's biggest desire. With half the Republicans sidelined, even Hilary can win.

Doesn’t matter what he did or didn’t do. If he is charged, since his alleged crime(s) were committed in the District of Columbia, that is where his trial will be held and he will be quickly convicted of anything he is charged with by a D.C. jury/Obama-Biden judge.

I think the only question on dems’ minds is how the rest of the country will react to charges/convictions. Trump’s innocence or guilt will have nothing to do with it.
