Where did Lloyd Austin work before becoming SecDef?
Paid for with taxpayer dollars.
Hey, remind me again where our Secretary of Defense used to work?
paid for by tye american can taxpayers..
“Catching on yet?”
Yes. Russia needs to end their stupid war and leave from Ukraine.
Whoopee.
Russia still needs to end their stupid war and leave Ukraine.
Paid for with borrowed money on our grandkids’ tab.
…..and the sad truth is some of the systems will be destroyed when entering the country, enroute to the field, or blown where they are deployed. Vlad has been having success in targeting and destroying western arms shipments.
Of course at the rate of Ukie attrition, a truce, cease fire or DMZ may be in place long before we even build them….the welfare nation of Ukraine is becoming very, very tiring.
“Catching on yet?”
Yes. Ukraine needs to learn how to use them NASAMs cause the best they have done so far is taking down an apartment complex with casualties to boot......
This is how we get 2.9% GDP lol.
“In a statement on its website, the Pentagon said the estimated completion date for the systems was around two years away, on Nov. 28, 2025.”
So after December 6 Raytheon can order the fire control computer, after which the computer manufacturer can order the power supply, after which the power supply manufacturer can order the capacitors, etc, etc.
“Catching on yet?”
Yes. Assange revealed:
“The goal is an endless war, not a successful war”
Jointly designed with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, so NATO chief Stoltenberg’s country no doubt gets it cut.
Plus they can use up a big inventory of obsolete missiles:
The AMRAAM is one of the most widely used air-to-air missiles in the world, and stockpiles of it are higher than any other comparable system. As NASAMS uses existing air-to-air missiles such as the AIM-9 Sidewinder, AMRAAM, and AMRAAM-ER, there may be thousands of older missiles in NATO’s arsenal that can be fired from a NASAMS battery without change.[citation needed] The AIM-9X variant includes an internal cooling system, eliminating the need for launch-rail nitrogen supply required by older variants of the missile.
A report has described NASAMS as “extremely well suited to Ukraine because of the massive numbers of missiles that NATO and allies can supply, specifically for the air defence system.”[41][42] In particular, older AMRAAM A and B models have been replaced, making available many older missiles which could be sent to Ukraine.[43] For example the UK government has offered to donate “[h]undreds of additional air defence missiles” including the AMRAAMs.

One good thing from this - delivery is in 3 years, and I doubt they’ll be sent to Ukraine or whatever is left of it, so we’ll get to either keep them or send them to a place where we really do have an interest in protecting.
Wars are fought with arms made by arms manufacturers what a brilliant realization thank you for making us all realize that weapons are not made in people’s backyards and basements.
And God forbid those weapons should be purchased from an American company oh my God what an outrage.
“Russia still needs to end their stupid war and leave Ukraine.”
That’s the purpose of the mobilization.
Good point. Zelenskyy & Biden have the Ukraine reduced to a shell.
