By now millions of Americans well-informed about the pandemic know that the cheap, safe and effective generic medicine ivermectin (IVM) was blocked for wide-scale use from the very beginning by the federal government. It was a critical but medically wrong tactic within the wait-for-the-vaccine strategy. Preventing early use of IVM has surely killed and harmed hundreds of thousands of Americans. A few courageous doctors have successfully been using IVM during the pandemic, but most feared punishment as they lost their medical freedom.
Now comes a mind-boggling statement from an attorney defending the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in a lawsuit brought by three doctors. The following statement should be copied and used by both doctors and individuals to freely prescribe and use IVM in the earliest stage of COVID infection as an antiviral. It always should have been seen as an alternative to experimental, unsafe and ineffective COVID vaccines.
Here are the amazing words of the federal attorney:
"The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19," Isaac Belfer, a lawyer defending FDA, told the court. "They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it's prohibited or it's unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin."
Imagine that! So, let truth prevail. Let national access to IVM begin!

As a clinical pharmacist (retired now) I trusted Pfizer, Astra-Zenaca, Merck, etc. My trust was misplaced. I did take the Pfizer two shots. In retrospect I wish I had not as subsequent information showed that statistically the shot was higher risk than the disease. I refuse to take a booster. The drug companies hid this data from the public. I caught covid despite the shot. I treated myself with ivermectin and it was like a mild cold.
It should be noted that the companies have blanket immunity when it comes to vaccines. The covid shot is not a vaccine despite the FDA changing the definition of a vaccine so it could classify the covid shot as a vaccine. This is about liability. Oddly I approve of the blanket immunity for vaccines. Otherwise they would refuse to make them. All vaccines have a risk benefit ratio. A few will get ill and or die. The benefits of polio, flu, smallpox, etc. vaccines far outweigh the risks. It was not so for the covid shot.
Since Pfizer etc. hid the data about adverse reactions I wonder if this negates their blanket immunity? Perhaps a lawyer on the forum can answer this. I do not know.
I would like to see Pfizer and the others sued and sued hard. I do not want to destroy Pfizer and the others. We need them. I want them hurt so bad that in the future they would never do this again. I want those that manipulated and hid data prosecuted. They are really guilty in my opinion of negligent manslaughter, fraud, and perjury. As the architect of this disaster that killed millions Dr. Anthony Fauci should be tried in The Hague for crimes against humanity. He is an evil man.

Covid infection is associated with loss of smell in some. Ivermection is not. Many millions of doses of Ivermectin have been used to treat river blindness for years. Ivermectin was not associated with loss of smell in those treatments.
I got Ivermectin paste from an on-line Vet Supply and it worked for everyone who used it. Over a dozen people from mid 30's to my 90 year old Mother.
A reported big flu outbreak. I wonder, has anyone tried Ivermectin to treat those with the flu?
Nope, not even the ones that intentionally and knowingly sent covid infected patients into nursing homes knowing that 10’s of 1000’s would die as a result. In ny some woman running g for office was gonna “investigate Cuomo” for doing so, but dropped the investigation even though aids of Cuomo sounded the alarm that they were forced to lie for him or cover up- can’t remember which now.
It’s sad watching he thoroughly corrupt keep getting away with their crimes.

Then why did people have to take hospitals to court to get them to administer (or allowed to be administered) ivermectin to people dying from covid?

Got the Wuhan Feb 2021. Was as about down for the count at home; foggy brain, no taste/smell, curled up in the fetal position.
Was prescribed the “hydroxy-prednisone-z-pack” trio on day 4.
12 hours later I was feeling great.
At 48 hours my taste/smell was coming back, feeling almost 100%.
At 96 hours back to complete normal.
Started on Ivermectin about 6 months ago. Positive results with better sleep, all skin rashes/eczema cleared up, and haven’t been sick.
62 yr old M, not vaxxed.
I guess I wasn’t clear:
My working theory is that sars-cov-2 goes latent in the sinuses and other tissues (including the enteric system), and that Ivermectin will cure the loss of smell.
Based upon other comments, it seems that is 100% true, so I’ll be pushing my boy to order some Ivermectin to cure his >yearlong smell issues.
