I appreciate that, but I’m looking specifically for those who suffered loss of smell and took Ivermectin. I’ve long had a working theory, but no test subject reports. For whatever reason I can’t get my boy to take it seriously enough to try a week of Ivermectin, so the theory on the cause of loss of smell/long Covid remains untested.

Covid infection is associated with loss of smell in some. Ivermection is not. Many millions of doses of Ivermectin have been used to treat river blindness for years. Ivermectin was not associated with loss of smell in those treatments.

I guess I wasn’t clear:

My working theory is that sars-cov-2 goes latent in the sinuses and other tissues (including the enteric system), and that Ivermectin will cure the loss of smell.

Based upon other comments, it seems that is 100% true, so I’ll be pushing my boy to order some Ivermectin to cure his >yearlong smell issues.
