Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is condemning white nationalist Nick Fuentes and defending former President Trump...
She said she spoke with Trump and talked with people on his staff after news of the dinner broke.
"President Trump had no idea he (Fuentes) was even coming. So that's unfortunate," Greene said.
She said that Trump's team is making "big changes over who can come in and the vetting process, which I think is smart. Any former president should have that in place."
Greene says that knowing what she knows now about Fuentes, she would not have spoken at his conference---but does not regret her message to those in the audience.
"I don't regret talking to the kids that were there because I don't understand why they follow him. But would I have gone to his event? No", Greene said. "I'm worried about kids that would follow him. And that's a shame...But no, I don't want to have anything to do with him."
Greene said that before she spoke at the Fuentes event, her understanding was that it would be a group of 1,000 to 1,200 college students.
"My thinking was, of course I want to talk to these kids. And I gave, you know, the same speech I gave there as I would anywhere. I'm proud of the speech I gave there. It's on video. I never said anything wrong," Greene said.
"What I did find out is I saw some videos of his in the past week because I asked my staff, 'Can you pull some videos? I don't even know how to watch this guy,'" Greene said. "And they showed me some videos. I could not believe the stuff he says. I mean, it was shocking."
Greene wondered who is funding Fuentes, and whether Ye is paying him...

I see M1lopox has joined the ranks of Trump’s angry ex-girlfriends, i.e., Ann C0ulter, M Ma1kin, and a handful of others.
Trumpy needs to clean house. I think that in many cases he is so used to dealing with freakazoids and people he knows don’t like him - but what can they do, haha? He’s Trump! - that he just doesn’t take them seriously.
When you see something that doesn’t quite jibe - for example, in Mr Fu3ntes’s case, where he’s SUPPOSEDLY a White Supremacist (he’s “a Mexican” according to him), a “christian” (nope! Catholic! big difference!), a right-wing nationalist (there’s nothing about his pitch that doesn’t seem leftish), and blah-de-blah - when you see things that don’t jibe, then you’re probably looking at a concoction that is not as advertised.
I get the mindset that if you’re gutsy enough to SAY you’re a white supremacist/nationalist, then you must be one, because what sane person would claim to be a white supremacist if s/he wasn’t actually that? But this is the apocalypse and your expectations are all going to be defeated, one by one.
Another case in point is the “proud boys” group, claiming to be white nationalist men, when they are (most of ‘em) J3wish, married to ethnic chicks (which makes their kids ethnic minorities), and are so very public, and walk about with such freedom, that it makes one think that folks are just okay with you being a white supremacist and hey, why shouldn’t I give it a try...? Hm.... *sounds of police sirens*
One thing that is very clear here is that these fabrications, of which M1lopox and Fu3ntes are two really great examples, are not as advertised and that there are better things out there to get hung up on, like for example STOP WATCHING TV AND FOLLOWING THESE IDIOTS SLAVISHLY ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND NONE OF THIS SH1T WILL MATTER ANYMORE.
TV sets you up to believe that Mr Y is a “far right white supremacist” and that blinds you to what is real.
I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with people being able to hold and express views that are not politically correct. I’m not saying that Trumpy did anything really wrong by having some controversial, high-profile people over for dinner, although I would have told him to think twice about it.
I’m saying: These guys are fake. They smell like the Left. They don’t get busted for spouting off about white supremacy because their media handlers get the joke - but YOU will.
