GOP senators behind bipartisan gun control say they're done

Following Uvalde, a small group of Republican senators broke with the rest of the party and negotiated a bipartisan gun control deal. It wasn’t the broad, sweeping anti-gun measures that many wanted, but it was gun control.

Now, following a series of mass shootings, there’s a renewed push for anti-gun legislation, this time in the form of an assault weapon ban.

Unfortunately for those pushing it, the Republicans behind the last bill aren’t interested in a repeat performance.

As the past 60 years have clearly shown us, there are few limits to the extent to which these backstabbing bastards will go in siding with the communist party and its goals...

Year after year, Congress after Congress, election after election, it is always the same:

Excluding issues related to the SCOTUS, with the assistance of the GOP, the Communist party (formerly the Democrat party) has trampled on both the former Constitution and the freedoms & liberties of American citizens...

Get used to this dark tyranny... It is only in the early stages... It is going to get much worse...

Free & honest elections no longer exist and even the sham ones we currently have will be completely eliminated within 10 years...

On the bright side, there is, according to the warnings of President Ronald Reagan, only about 998 years of this tyranny left...

Hathaway isn’t investing in all those railroads for no reason... The globalists aren’t buying up huge swaths of rural land for no reason...

I can understand your sentiment, but it’s akin to surrender. Even if there is only a 1% chance my vote will mean something, I am still going to vote. I refuse to give the bastards the satisfaction of shutting me out. I don’t believe in surrenders; I just am not wired that way: It’s not in my DNA.

I’m not trying to be mean, but that attitude is how we got a bumper crop of bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCAN’Ts, and how we got to where we are now.
Stop voting for them, and start voting your conscience.
You will feel better in the morning.

During the last Bamster years I realized the accelerating corruption of every institution controlled by the Left.

It was when my focus turned from elections to an Article V Convention of the States.

“...and start voting your conscience.”

I do. And my conscience demands that I do what I can to keep a Democrat out of office. So, voting AGAINST the Democrat is a no-brainer.

“..Voting for either one is voting for your demise....”

Sure looks that way.
One could easily come to the conclusion that it’s one bird with two wings....UniParty.

Unfortunately for those pushing it, the Republicans behind the last bill aren’t interested in a repeat performance.

There will be plenty of republicans waiting to help with all the pushing and pulling.

“To withhold a GOP vote because the candidates aren’t as reliably Conservative as we might like is a vote for the Dems, who are indeed, reliably moving farther left each year.”

The GOPe is also moving reliably farther left and each time we bite our lip and vote for one, we show them they can get away with moving left more and more.

What we really need to do is break out of the uniparty system at some point. We’ll likely never see another 49 state landslide like Reagan but we do need more to choose from.

I blame these feckless RINOs for caving on this and other leftist issues for the “red ripple”.

I don’t see a pattern that suggest taking guns away from law biding conservative citizens will accomplish anything.
= = =

It will remove any hesitation that perps of the type you just mentioned might have. Any fear of citizens’ defenses will decrease. Incidents such as you cite will increase.

It was when my focus turned from elections to an Article V Convention of the States.

Every state will send a delegation. Can you imagine the delegates states like CA, MA, MD, and NY will send? The red state delegations will be mostly the usual RINOs. The insane communists and media will bully them into submission. It could be worse than what we have now.

A breakaway party is an instant failure.

Better that we restore the GOP from within.

It begins with primary elections, and having superlative candidates to oppose RINOs. I recommend youthful, photogenic, educated, well-spoken, articulate, eloquent, and diplomatic yet strong-willed Veterans, .
