It definitely wasn’t “an honest mistake.” He was flying without luggage — no checked baggage at all — yet he went straight to the baggage claim area, grabbed the fancy Vera Something bag, yanked off the claim tag, and quickly walked away. It’s a felony because the designer bag and its content was worth close to $3,000.
Probably not the first Wang he’s grabbed.
