Pendukh, 33, after serving several months on the front lines - the war has taken a toll on him He considers himself lucky. Friends in his battalion have served with squads that lost more than half their members.
"Lots of problems, even psychological problems," he says. "Some people from those formations, they need psychological help after this. Very serious psychological help."
He's tired of living out of a tent. He's tired of facing daily artillery fire. He misses his mom and her cooking....He acknowledges crying while eating an apple pie that his mother recently sent him.
"The further you are from the action, the more scary it feels," he says.
Ukrainian commanders are turning to morale officers and psychologists to help keep up soldiers' spirits.

$100 Billion Dollars would have built a great wall along our southern border - rather than fill the toilet bowel in Ukraine!

How exactly does a package service work to get an apple pie to the war front? That sort of thing bothered the Germans as well:

and why would Russia withdraw, if they’re allegedly winning?
To: Flick Lives
Well there are lulls on the front line and they have to get food at some point. It’s not like Ukraine has military kitchens working round the clock in black outconditions.

After just 6 weeks of training I wouln’t feel secure with the fellow next to me either.
Might be why some try to run away or surrender quickly.

Its strategy!!!! You see you attack, grab the land, annex it, and then flee so you can kill the Ukrainians when they move in! (umm couldnt they just kill the Ukrainians where they were??) Worked great in Kiev and Kharkiv.
Look for this awesome stragtegy to be repeated soon!
To: Timber Rattler
Well Mercouris doesn’t seem to hide his sympathies with Russia.

LOL....
I doubt I’d fair well being forced to fight in a war either....6 wks training...then sent to the front lines.
I’m sure Zleensky will be begging for medical treatment funding after the war.

No they fled before being sent. Ukrainians flee once they’ve find a way of escape, usually after 6 weeks training. Otherwise they’re arrested if they don’t go.
