Share Tweet ... More Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R), who is considering challenging former President Trump for the White House in 2024, called Trump’s recent dinner with white nationalist Nick Fuentes “very troubling” on Sunday.
During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” with co-anchor Dana Bash, Hutchinson criticized the former president after he acknowledged dining with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, and Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago.

A white supremacist named Fuentes, now that’s rich. Considering his dad hails from Guerrero, Mexico means a little common sense is in order. Plus notice they call him “anti semetic” but fail to provide specifics. Our side gets sullied by crap like this because we don’t push back at all. I am not saying Nick Fuentes is a hill to die on but, accepting the media narrative on this is pretty stupid.
I would agree on the supremist being worse.
Our side gets “sullied” by fruits and nuts like Fuentes. Dems are never defined by the fringe of their party. We are. Trump courting these nutjobs for votes is a real bad sign for the general election because in doing this he will lose the same voters who just made the Senate Democrat and the House barely GOP.
My thoughts on this are that Trump is trying to get YE to run as an independent pulling massive black votes from Dems the middle class black vote will lol he with Trump!! Just my thoughts!!
I am not saying he isn’t a nut because he sure as hell is a nut. Nick Fuentes is NOT the hill to die on, Alex Jones was because many of Trump’s voters are Alex Jones listeners and Trump did himself no favors leaving Alex Jones out to dry. This was a mistake because the left than went after more “mainstream” sources.
The nuts didn’t hurt us in this wave, it was the people in the midwest that didn’t vote. Plus, those candidates were poorly funded and Trump sat on $115 million.
Whether he is a nut or not doesn’t make him a holocaust denier nor a white supremacist and we shouldn’t accept narratives like that either.

That sounds about right. Fuentes was an odd little weirdo who used to have a minor presence on Twitter. He looked like a kid playing at being an adult by wearing a suit and pretending to be leading some kind of traditionalist movement that had an antisemitic streak. Most people would have no idea who he was. He and Milo might have some things in common.
For anything and everything because he's a moderate out the door Republican with TDS like Liz Cheney.
He'll barely make the debates, and at that he'll be at the little kids debates.

The left is going to attack Trump and any other Republican. They are going to make fake claims about racism, anti-semitism, and every other thing they can think up.
As I noted the same media who are all "upset" about Trump meeting with Ye are not at all upset that Obama met with him and endorsed him, or that Adidas and other companies did multi-billion dollar deals with him.
They only aim their faked outrage one way - at anybody that doesn't go along with their schemes.
It doesn’t matter what we think the ‘optics’ of this even without the MSM making it worse makes Trump a harder sell to the ‘independents’. He needs the independents in his camp not us.
Rumors are rife in Trumpworld, one being that Roger Stone somehow got mixed up in this “gotcha”, which was obviously organized by Milo. That would be incredibly stupid on Roger’s part, which doesn’t mean it’s not possible, but probably doesn’t mean much going forward anyway.
But what can be gleanded from this bruhaha?
Well, one, Trump isn’s currently surrounded with the establishment types who were telling him to “listen to Fauci”. Yeah, they would have probably vetted Ye’s entourage (he always has an entourage), but those were the people who did so much to undermine his administration and 2020 campaign anyway. So that’s on the positive side of the ledger.
Two, Ye has completely burned his bridges to Trump with this caper. That’s good, because he’s clearly unstable and Trump needs Ye’s drama like he needs a hole in his head. So, two on the positive side.
Three anyone else involved in this (for sure Milo, maybe MTG) will be, as the kids say, yeeted from Trumpworld. That’s also good.
And a year from now, this will be buried and have no legs, so it’s unlikely, by itself, to hurt Trump much, if at all.
As for Ye, well, Milo is just there to grift money from him for his silly run for President. Not really a factor that MAGA, or Trump needs to spend energy on, IMHO.
