Sometimes it seems like nothing ever happens, but this seems like it could be a big deal…
Background: The Brazilian people have flooded the streets in protest at an allegedly rigged and stolen election. Truckers are blocking all highways. Farmers have blocked all ports from exporting agriculture. Bolsonaro has exhausted his legal options, with his election appeal being rejected by a corrupt, opposition-appointed Chief Supreme Court justice.
Bolsonaro is now huddling with the military to plot his next moves.
What is Article 142? The lying New York Times explains:
Many of the protesters said their demands for intervention were supported by Article 142 of the Brazilian Constitution, which says that the military has the role of “guaranteeing constitutional powers” under the “supreme authority of the president.”
They go on to pooh-pooh it citing “experts”: According to constitutional lawyers and past court rulings, the article does not allow the military to take control of the government.
More from the NYT:
BRASÍLIA — They arrived by the tens of thousands on Wednesday, angry and draped in Brazilian flags, massing outside military bases across the country. They were there, they said, to save Brazil’s democracy from a rigged election, and there was only one way to do so: The armed forces needed to take control of the government.
It was an alarming demand in a country that suffered under a two-decade military dictatorship until 1985 — and yet another bizarre twist in the aftermath of Brazil’s polarizing elections.
A day earlier, the far-right president, Jair Bolsonaro, reluctantly agreed to a transfer of power after 45 hours of silence following his loss to a leftist former leader, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. But after Mr. Bolsonaro’s years of unfounded attacks on Brazil’s election systems, his supporters appeared far from accepting defeat. … The widespread protests and calls for the armed forces were an escalation of the Brazilian far-right’s refusal to accept the election of Mr. da Silva, a former president whom many on the right view as a criminal because of his past corruption scandal.
Mr. Bolsonaro, in a two-minute speech on Tuesday in which he did not acknowledge his loss, said he supported peaceful protests inspired by “feelings of injustice in the electoral process.”
Many of his followers saw that as a stamp of approval. “What he said yesterday, that gave me more energy to come,” said Larissa Oliveira da Silva, 22, who was sitting on a beach chair in the protest in São Paulo, propping up her broken foot. “After his comments, I saw that he is on our side.”
The major difference is that Brazilians didn't wait two months after the election to protest.
This is a cut & paste of a comment posted to the article:
“Obama fired 197 Generals from all branches of the military, eviscerating the top two tiers of command. Barack essentially purged the military of conservatives. That is vastly more generals fired by Barack Obama than all generals fired by all Presidents in U.S. history combined.
Then, Barack “Communist Muslim Infiltrator” Obama fired over 7,000 SES out of the entire 9,000 member Senior Executive Service that runs the 600+ Federal Bureaucracies and replaced them all with Communists and the useful idiots of Leftist Woke Ideologues.
Of course the MSM, which is the CIA’s Propaganda Media Empire, cloaked the events with silence, because it was clearly a Coup d’ Etat in the making.
We are now witnessing the fruits of the Communist Muslim’s insidious evils done to the United States of America. The Cabal that groomed him and put him in the White House using the Dominion machines used the gullible goodness of America’s soul, which had been touched by Martin Luther King who planted the seeds of hope that our nation’s civil division would be healed by a Black President. The Globalist Cabal Psy Ops experts recognized their opportunity to play on the goodness of the heart of the nation, in order to destroy it.”

If we didn’t have such a traitorous military leaders they would’ve done the same thing in 2020.
Send our January 6th committee to them
South Americans show freedom patriots the way to deal with tyranny. First, there was Venezuela and now Brazil. Watch that Communist ‘elected’ puppet as he makes his swift getaway. Slightly different though, because I believe in Venezuela the military had the courts blessing. Here the SCt is also Communist. It just goes to show that the military is the last stop. Obozo knows this only too well from his Kenyan days, so he purged our military of patriots. Whether we, in the U.S., still have patriots in control is a very troubling question. In the final analysis, those who are in control of our military armaments (the Big Guns) rule the day.
The joint chiefs aren’t who I’m talking about. All 11 of our Co-Comms were appointed by Donald J. Trump. They are sworn to protect the constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.
I have absolutely no doubt that our cyber guys over at Space Force caught all the cheating in 2020 in real time as well as the recent midterms. They know exactly who won every race in both elections. I don’t understand why they are still waiting. At some point you enter the area of diminishing returns.
IN PRACTICE... once you go junta, you don’t go back!
Brazil had a similar situation in 1964. A communist was elected. The people protested for days and the military took over. The military ceded power back in the 1980's and there have been democratic elections since then.
During the period of the soft military dictatorship Brazil's economy soared and the middle class grew in size. Times were good.
Fast forward to now. The leftists messed with the electronic voting machines and got their puppet, Lula, elected. The people are back in the streets just like in 1964.
We will try to see that our turnout is better than the one in Arizona.
Incidentally, I was going to go down to Washington DC with my brother. That never materialized, but if it did we would sharing a cell in the DC gulag alongside the rest of the political prisoners.
