I wish they would use DIE instead of DEI. More truthful.
Producing a generation of UNEMPLOYABLES
Based on how things are now, the Equity & Equality should be switched in those groups. Libs want kneejerk equality...consevatives reward earned equity.
If that America's not dead, it's doing a damned fine job playing possum . . .
I belong to a technical society and a month or so ago I got a DEI survey from a diversity babe (Ph.D.) Told her I wasn’t into DEI or Woke. A few weeks later I got a follow-up email asking me again to participate. Nope. She was with the American Physical Society.
The whole equity thing has penetrated really deep. I can’t even look at the home page of the company I’d worked for - it screams ESG.
Controlling schools requires attending schoolboard meetings, voting in schoolboard elections and running for seats on the schoolboard.
That leftists control schools proves that so-called conservatives have no interest in the above. Conservatives care more about remodeling the kitchen, barbecuing ribs and watching football than they care about their children.
What would American society be discussing and learning and funding and experiencing if we didn’t have that sweet sweet diversity? Exploring the stars? Curing cancer?
No! Instead, every news story, every university, every politician is singularly focused on “diversity” and “racism”. That is where all of our resources go.
This is a fantastic idea! I would love to see this become a tidal wave across the country, and also would love something like this to be enacted via states in their public school systems. (I prefer homeschooling or private schooling, but that is impossible for many). This would be a good way to take back our public IDSs that we all pay taxes into and which are currently turning our country’s young people into little non thinking communists.
It should be glaringly obvious that institutions of higher learning have been producing badly educated graduates for decades now while the prices of their deteriorating services have risen astronomically. Any institution pandering to weaklings' demands for homogeneous thinking and "safe spaces" are in no way preparing young adults for the competitive work world requiring backbone and creative problem solving. The current federal executive administration of usurpers are an excellent example of how bad this can go.
The fastest way to cut tuition costs dramatically is to eliminate the ever-growing "diversity administrators" who, in a fair world, would be asking us if we want fries with that.
