It looks nice/pretty grounds.

Its a play on “Stay Woke”, which was written on a whole bunch of T shirts Musk found in the cupboard at Twitter..

Tesla was indeed a genius. It is too bad he didn’t recognize the predators using him to steal his inventions.

He was a genius and a dreamer, but not a businessman.
Westinghouse paid for his place for his end of life.
He owed him a lot more than that.

And he was right.
Two new EV companies named after him already, Tesla and Nikola.

He was the man. I have books on him, and by him.
He’s why I switched from ChemE to EE.

The Associated Press
@AP

Official
New Twitter owner Elon Musk said he is granting “amnesty” for suspended accounts, which online safety experts predict will spur a rise in harassment, hate speech and misinformation.

Musk replied swiftly. Musk's Twitter is such great fun right now. Chuckle.

Stay @ Work is pronounced “stay AT work”. @ is the commercial “at” symbol.

Musk is expecting employeees physically and commitment wise to be At Work.

Like at SpaceX. Not like at the old Twitter phone-it-in jobs.

Tesla (1856-1943) “designed our electrical distribution system.” Yes, thanks to Westinghouse (1846-1914). And Edison (1847-1931) became jealous and bitter.

And the douche bag electrocuted stray dogs (and even an elephant) to show the danger of AC power.
Edison is responsible for the electric chair being used in the US.
Edison also took credit for other people’s inventions, since they were under his contract.
**** Edison.

(I might be biased)

My pet theory is that New Coke was always meant to be a temporary and not a permanent Coca-Cola brand product. Because when Coke Classic was “brought back” to shelves, it was made with corn syrup and not cane sugar.

I think New Coke was meant to “cleanse the palletes” of consumers to what Coke made with cane sugar tasted like. When folks had voiced enough displeasure with New Coke and the coming “Classic” corn syrup formula was ready to roll out, New Coke was withdrawn.

I think consumers in the main were overjoyed to see “Classic” “return” and never noticed any real difference between what was before and what came after. (Thanks in part to the taste of New Coke, which was very different.) Some still noticed the difference, preferred the earlier product, and now buy glass-bottled Coke made with cane sugar from Mexico.

My pet theory is that New Coke was always meant to be a temporary and not a permanent Coca-Cola brand product.

When that suggestion to Coke was made, the response was "We're not that smart, and we aren't that stupid."

In fact, Coke had already started switching over to HFCS years before new Coke, as had other companies. It has been suggested that New Coke would be cheaper to make because the classic formula contains a bit of "lime juice" under natural flavors, and that costs more.

...But history undercuts my theory: Coca-cola was already being made with corn syrup before New Coke was rolled out. The switch was earlier.

Thank you for the correction. A misconception on my part.

The main reason New Coke tasted different:

It used the Diet Coke formula as its base. They tweaked the formula and added HCFS as the sweetener.
