Having sat through, and given, several depositions over my lifetime (none of which litigation I was a party to) that is what lawyers tell you to say. “I cannot recall”, and “do you have any documents that might refresh my memory” after which you basically say “I can’t recall” again.
In his defense, it would be hard to remember just what he said at any given time since he’d often contradict himself.
Play him the video of his statements before asking him each of the next questions about it so he can’t squirm out of having said it.
I know it wouldn’t work in a court of law, but...

His exaggerations and hyperbole back in the 1980s during the AIDS pseudo-scare should have gotten him fired or at least relegated him to the basement. He never should have been allowed access to the press ever again. This was no secret! Putting him in the limelight again is all on Trump!

Fauci is just like every other career bureaucrat and political appointee: A soulless, selfish, lying POS.
I have made plenty of mistakes in my life and done many things I am ashamed of, but those things were not the focus of my life. But with bureaucrats like Fauci, their entire career and existence revolves around lying, cheating, stealing and destroying people’s lives. How does a person atone for an entire life of doing that? Is it even possible? And at what point does a person like Fauci willfully decide it’s OK to destroy people’s lives, and also cause people to lose their lives based upon a lie?
I never liked or trusted that sawed-off little midget to begin with, but now I am quite certain he is an evil little man without a soul or conscience.
Hubris. But at lease he wants to take ownership of the clot shot.
In case y’all are holding out hope that Fauci is going to be held accou table for what he’s done tbroughout his multiple decades of poor decisions, now is your chance to come to terms with the fact that he won’t.
Congress may drag him up to testify and he may appear, but he will never admit to anything criminal, never agree that his previous statements are contradictory, and even if they were, that it was misrepresenting the facts at the time, and whatcha gonna do about it?
The best you can hope for is the libs deciding to turn Trump into the Covid scapegoat as an election tactic and Fauci gets caught up in that smearing.
